It's been two weeks, he is still being cold. Now not even bothering to replying to her messages, not even her calls . She called him three times yesterday, two times today. And what did he do? Just shooed her away sending a quick " Busy rn call you later " but never calls

Nari scoffed felling tears dwelly up. Just sitting there on her bed for past 5 hour seeing her twelve years of friendship dying. And could do nothing. She wanted to meet him ask and ask why is he doing this to her, shout at him, nuzzle her face in his neck and cry until he gives the answer but she could not do it she felt defeated.

She messaged him that she wanted to hang out 'he said he is busy' . She asked him if she can come over and have some time together 'he said please not now' . He is just avoiding nari, it's more than evident.

Yuna , a good and close friend ( not more close than jungkook) who met nari met through jungkook himself. Even said that why were you running after someone who is not even willing to make things clear or even pushing you alway. Why can't you let things be.

She can not, she did'nt knew how to. From when she was nine and he was eleven , she have been with jungkook, they both have done everything together. She perfectly knew how to live with jungkook by her side but without him. She felt lost .

Every day seemed like months, she cried cried. Two weeks turned into three and still no word from him. He knew she that how shattered and broken this all was making her but he was keeping his quite.

I knew there was a part of me that was selfish. I was being petty by hating and blaming Aeri. So here I am in front of his door ready . Ringing the bell sand waiting for him to open .

"You are avoiding me " You say with visibly tensed expressions."No I am not". " Yes you are, u are not replying to my messages , not picking my calls, and not even hanging out with me". You saying trying hard not to cry. "I not avoiding or ignoring you, it's just this month have been a busy one" He say nonchalantly.

"It's not the first time you were busy kook, there have been times when you were but you never ignored me then, and its much more than evident that there is something bothering you" Now you were crying. You don't know how to stop the tears , you feeling you are not able to breath, the pain in your heart and mind is now getting to much.

"No it's nothing nari , you are just making it a big issue".

"Is it something I did, or something I said " You say not being able to stop the tears "not everything in my life is about you nari". He knows his word are doing nothing but making you hurt more. His heart clenches seeing you cry, if the circumstances where different he would have kissed your tears away. But not know, no matter how much it hurts him seeing you so broken that to because of him , he can not hold you.

"I am just busy nari, we are not kids anymore, we have a lot of responsibilities now, I have more people in my life not just you, I can not be with you everytime or talk to you everytime. You are being a problem now ".

"Oh so I am a problem, and you want to get rid of me don't you ". Crack evident in your voice, you were now breathing heavily.

"You know na kook, how much I hate fighting with you, you know how much this all is hurting me and still you are fooling me with your words .why? Why kook?. "

You knew there was no use of stretching this conversation now. He has just cut you off his life. You mind was clouded with all the emotions you were felling. You were shaking, it was getting hard every second to breath.

Jungkook noticed your state and held your hand. "Nari, you are shaking, talk to me ,you are fine ? ". You were just standing not able to speak. You yanked his hand away and started moving towards the main door

You held the door knob .and looked over your shoulder to see him him still standing there with some unrecognizable emotions in his eyes. “You're still wearing your bracelet ,It reminds me of a relationship that I don't want to lose. Kook" You said, more like pleaded. It was the bracelet you gifted him when you were eleven and you both promised to each other you will not leave each no matter what. He never removed that bracelet. And you wish he never do in future too.

Jungkook pov :

I felt as if someone is snatching my life from me. I wanted to hold her in my arms , tell her all the truth, calm her.

" Nari " She turned.

I moved towards her, and I don't what took over me and I wrapped my hands around her waist and my lips were met with the soft skin of her neck. This was not knew to us but kissing her neck knowing this would be the last time. I wanted to just do it forever. But this time she didn't moved her head back to give me more space instead she moved away from me. Hurt was in her eyes and I realized how much I fucked up.

Shooing her away one second and kissing her neck the other second. Kissing her neck was something i always did to show her affection and also to calm myself but doing it right now was not a great move it must have felt as if I was using her to calm my nerves as I always did.

She left as soon as she could, without even sparing me a last glance. Why would she, when I was the only one who was being an asshole and wanted her to leave ..

She is worth nothing less than stardust, but all I can give her is dirt..

It's been an enjoyable stay, more than enjoyable, it was beautiful in so many aspects.

This was all Amrendra was thinking about as he walked towards the courtroom. Sivagami had abruptly called him and Kattappa back from Kuntal.

He was scared and nervous to be honest, the way the letter was so short and without details, just telling him and Kattappa to come back and bring Devsena along, it sent his mind to all sorts of possibilities.

But when he came back to the palace, being decorated like it was a royal bride, it kind of calmed him down. It wasn't an attack or something but what exactly is going on here?

A soft chime of anklets pulled him out of his thoughts, his head turning in the direction automatically to look who it was.

The only thing he's able to catch is red cloth flapping behind the figure, such a dark red saree, like it was dyed in blood or something. He thinks he has hardly ever seen someone wear that colour.

He embarrassingly almost jumps when someone touches his shoulder and turns around to find Devsena standing there with a raised brow.

“What's wrong?”

“Yeah I just…” He throws a look over his shoulder to only find an empty corridor staring back at him.

“...nothing. Let's head inside.”

His thoughts go silent and so the court once he's announced to be entering, after Devsena. His mother sits in her usual place but his smile falls as soon as he sees her.

She's not okay.

He can tell that at one glance, she's stressed, worried even. The way one of her hands is tapping at the armrest is also a sign of being restless and Sivagami is never restless until it's a situation where she has close to no choice.

As a nervous habit of his, Amrendra starts cracking his knuckles while they wait for Sivagami to speak up. Devsena seems to have noticed this and nudges him to knock it off which he does, choosing to fold his arms behind his back, his nails digging in his palm.

“I have an important announcement to make.”

The whole court falls silent, her voice commanding and strong as ever.

“Before that Devsena, I will give you one chance to explain the disrespect you showed our messenger and by extension me, my son and whole of Mahishmati, when the wedding proposal was sent to you.”

The mentioned woman steps forward joining her hands in greeting.

“Forgive me for my earlier behaviour but the way that letter was phrased angered me but as you can see I have accompanied your son to your kingdom and I am more than willing to marry him.”

The elder of the two frowns at the implication, her elder son looking over at her with a confused look.

“I think you have mistaken..”

Amrendra could feel his heart dropping to his stomach when his mother spoke the next lines.

“Aap ka vivaah jise hona hai, wo Mahishmati ke bade yuvraj Bhallaladeva hain. Aap jinke saath aayin, us Bahubali ka vivaah pehle se hi nishchit ho chuka”

(The one you're supposed to marry is the older prince of Mahishmati, Bhallaladeva. The one you accompanied here, Bahubali's marriage is all set.)

Amrendra has never been more thankful to Kattappa, for the hand on his back was the only thing keeping him on his feet.

He was already set to marry someone else? But when did that happen? This wasn't how he left things.

“Silence.”

His mother's voice brings his head back to the courtroom, his eyes shifting to the older woman who refused to make eye contact with him.

“You heard correctly, your future king's, my younger son's wife has been decided. She's the queen of Chandresha, she is Maharani..”

“Ayudhina.”

The whole court turned around at the voice, Amrendra however restricted himself, he wasn't going to look at her. This all was ridiculous anyways.

But he recognizes it, damn his memory. He recognizes the chime her anklets make, the same ones he heard outside the courtroom.

He averts his gaze, her hair and most probably her sareee brushing his arm as she walks past him. He catches a glimpse of her back. Her hair are open and her saree, that dark red keeps him reminding of blood and that makes him more uncomfortable than he already was.

“Maharani…”

“Rajmata.”

Her voice is softer than he imagined but it's firm, like…like water, gentle but not weak.

He shakes his head, what is he even thinking about, this is ridiculous. He was in love with Devsena, the brightest fire that kept him warm but he was supposed to marry this queen.

Why didn't his mother say anything about this?

“You have my won trust…”

The voice interrupts his overthinking again.

“Aapka vachan hi aapka shaasan hai.”

And that throws everyone off, including Shivgami, if the tightening of her jaw was any indication. That calms Amrendra down a little, there is more to the situation than just his mother fixing his marriage with a girl she liked.

Judging by her face, he thinks she's barely tolerating the behaviour, liking it seems like a far fetched idea.

“How can you do this-”

Devsena's voice makes his head jerk so fast he almost snapped his neck, this was not the time for an argument, with the whole court watching and with his mother clearly distressed. What was she thinking!?

“And who are you to ask that?”

He didn't want to but his eyes went to the voice instinctively, she- Ayudhina, is looking over her shoulder. Her eyes are calm, like a calm sea staring back at a fire cracking by its shore.

“You're not a Mahishmati royalty member as far as I know so sorry to say it but you get no say in this matter.”

“I love the man you're supposed to marry, I have more than just a say in this matter.”

This is bad, this is so bad but Bahubali just couldn't bring himself to say something to stop this argument, thankfully Sivagami was a no nonsense person.

“SILENCE! BOTH OF YOU!!”

Her voice boomed as she stood up from her seat,loud, clear and very obviously pissed off, throughout the courtroom once again silencing everyone.

“This is my court, not your personal chambers to have arguments in.”

Amrendra digs his nails harder in his palm, he can never get over or forget how scary his mother gets when she disapproves of something.

“I have given my final decisions, Ayudhina and Bahubali are to be married in two weeks. As for Devsena, my older son insists on marrying you; however, I am not very pleased by you either. If you accept the proposal well enough, if not you can leave the kingdom right now.”

With that the woman walked down from her throne, striding past Amrendra, followed by her lady in waiting and Kattapa, not sparing anyone even a mere glance.

You cried, cried until you slept that night everything was blurry . For days you felt like you were sick nothing was making you happy you didn't wanted to live.

You felt utterly used Ridiculous.

Days after your argument with him. You ran into him at the grocery store .You went there so you could distract yourself after being shut in your apartment for 9 days . You were angry , you clearly were but then again you were naive you wanted to have a civil conversation. If it was to end you wanted to end this all on good terms.

"Hey" you greeted him, nervousness evident in your voice." uhh...hi" He could possibly see dark circles under your eyes it caused an uneasy feeling inside his heart. " Kook... Umm I wa -"

You were cut by an utterly annoying female voice you wished you never heard " jungkookie ... What is she doing here" . This bitch "I thought you said you ended your shitty friendship with her " that was your last straw, you knew she was the one that caused the drift between you and jungkook .

But you never thought he will bring the argument you two had in this way to her.. Clearly stating that he ended... "Oh , so you really wanted to end this up.. That's why you brought that shitty excuse of being busy " You said, not being able to control your emotions further. " Nari.. This is not what I meant.. Listen to me"

He sounded somewhat panicked" Stop stop it " You ran past him out of the store not being able to listen anything moreHe ran after you. He wanted to keep you away from him but reason and things where different than it was looking.. He held your hand turning you so you could face him " Listen to me, nari I don't want you to do anything stupid ".

"Shut up .. I am Fucking stupid… I’m so fucking stupid,” you cried.“Do I really not matter enough to you? All these years of being your best friend and… and this is how you treat me? I know you’re busy, I know work is hard. But college is hard too, people aren’t nice all the time and sometimes I wish I could call you, but I don’t want to bother you at work,” You cried harder

." Nari.. Please " You never screamed at him, you didn’t scream at anybody. You were always so soft, so gentle and tender. You were understanding. But Jungkook hurt you .More than once.And you were tired of it.

“I’m so sick of the person I love more than anything, hurting me like this… if this is how you’re going to treat me then I don’t want to be your friend anymore,” you said, voice breaking.“No, nari , please! Please don’t do this, I love you so much, just things are not straight right now nari, please!” He said, tears in his own eyes.

Months passed and Jungkook stayed far away from you.No texts.No calls.But even after four months apart, you still couldn’t delete his number from your phone.

You couldn't bring yourself enjoying something or even talking to people . Its hard trying to ignore the pain in your heart but it's just there not going anywhere.. No matter matter how much you try you miss him, you really do You were now at the club waiting for your date to come , it weird being there alone.

It's not that you have come here first time but it's first time at club without jungkook. The volume of the music playing at this club was enough to blast your earbuds. The sweaty bodies clinging to your skin and the body odour in the air filling your nose trills was giving you ick. Sure, people are getting wild as time passes by but the dim lights was making it more sensual contrast to the atmosphere.

And there you see those dark eyes you wished you could just ignore staring at you , first at your face then at your outfit. It was the same outfit you suggested to buy just to tease jungkook cause it was way to reveling and he refused saying he don't want some weird guys ogling at you.

But after your fight you just found yourself doing everything that he refused to , out of annoyance just like you are doing now. He knew you didn't know he was there but your dress that was something he knew you did to irk him. “Hey! Y/n?” someone’s voice calling out to you make you came out of your thoughts.

When you focused, you saw your date standing a few foots away from you. You guys goes on a date some days ago, it went well and he suggested you should go on more dates with him, he would love that. He genuinely showed his interest towards you, even confessed to you that he likes you, very much. You were just feeling so sick of jungkook staring at you as if he will eat you . So without even a second thought you hugged your date.

If jungkook was there with his girlfriend enjoying why can't you. Jungkook is pissed, so much so that he goes straight to the seat he was occupying before, where his friends were seated and chugs down two shots in one go. Why is he so mad? He don’t know. Does It bothered him to see you with another man? Yes. Does he want you to stay by his side rather than that pathetic little piece of shit? Abso-fucking-lutely YES!

Jungkook just shrug it off as he took another shot which go straight down his throat, burning it in it’s way down. He doesn’t seem to find the reason why you like this men? Let alone date him? As much as he know, you’re not someone who is interested in these stuffs, so why now? It confuses and bothers him at another level.

What were you going to do now, have drinks with your date, kiss him or.. going to take him to your house and let him take your virginity. Now he found himself getting furious. But was he even getting himself so worked upMinutes passed, and then hour..... You were still with that guy visibly drunk as hell , and ready to go with him to probably fuck... That was the last straw for jungkook-
