Hahaha oh wow I actually find this really difficult to answer because honestly, I don’t think dialogue is really my strong point? But I’d have to go with the dialogue from the first chapter of Coming Together (Falling Apart).

“They said it was one of us or all of us, and there is no reason for all of us to get tortured.”

“So what, you want to offer up one of us to get hurt?” Clint’s eyes were narrowed, his fists clenched once again.

“I do, in fact.” After a few seconds of stunned silence, he continued. “I’m Iron Man, sure, but outside of the suit, I’m just a regular, unenhanced civilian. You are trained to withstand interrogation - I’m not. We’ve got no idea what they want, or which one of us can give it to them, but I say we send in anyone but me.”

It keeps going like that, and I’m really proud of the double layers, the way they’re performing for the (hidden) cameras, and the way Steve (as the POV character) doesn’t know exactly what is going on, but slowly starts realizing that something definitely is.

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve come up with?

Hmmm…. That would probably have been either Hate Me or some of my Whumptober shorts.

The first one is a lot of internal angst, with Tony hating himself and also hiding the fact that he’s Iron Man (because Iron Man is good, and Tony Stark isn’t). The second one has more external angst, with people getting hurt a lot.

That being said, angst is relative for me, because I’m terrible at unhappy endings (reading and writing both) and my stories either outright end well, or the implication is that they will (in the case of the Whumptober ones, where I didn’t have time to write entire fics).

N1 - Fairytale Tale As Old As Time [chapter 1] - fic (unfinished) - rating: Teen+ Once upon a time... A young prince, an elaborate spell, and a soldier who just wanted to help his friend and ended up in a fairytale he never could've imagined.

N2 - Stargazing Show Me The Stars - fic - rating: Gen With his followers asking him to review a specific movie, Bucky finds that he needs to call in some help for the more scientific parts of it. Fortunately, there's this guy whose YouTube channel he's been following...

N4 - First Kiss Never Let Me Go [chapter 3] - fic - rating: Teen+ As they continue meeting up at night, Tony and Bucky grow closer. Then they find out that they can actually sleep when they're together, and really, what else is there to do but cuddle as they finally find some peace?

G1 - Crossover Force (Be With Us) - fic - rating: Teen+ When Padawan Steev loses his Master to what seems like an accident, he and his friends gather... and find out there is a lot more going on than they'd ever expected. In the end, it's Tho'ny who comes up with a solution that will turn their lives around.

G2 - Sickfic Inconvenience - fic - rating: Gen For as long as he was able to remember, Tony had known that being ill made him a nuisance to others. It was better to deal with it alone, without bothering anyone else. Bucky disagreed.

O2 - Wrong Number One Call Away - fic - rating: Teen+ When Tony notices he's being followed on his way home, he calls Rhodey to help him out. Except it turns out he didn't, not quite.
