Exactly!! He had his redemption and all and he got married! Another think that makes me laugh is that half the book is about him trying to be able to walk again and as soon as he does he gets injured 😭 that man had no peace!!! Chaol in tower of dawn has my heart but Goodman the punches I’d give him in the two other books? 😮‍💨. Hope you don’t mind me just randomly having shared that in your inbox, I was just rereading and had to share this 😚

I was rereading throne of glass but it’s so funny to me seeing Chaol saying “whoever she is I’ll forever be grateful” when yrene told him about the small paper she keeps. Because the person he’s gonna be grateful for is the person he was full on hating because of powers and then not only is yrene somehow connected to aelin but ALSO has powers 😭

It honestly makes me giggle a little because his best friend also has powers and so he's just surrounded on all sides. I honestly feel so bad for him cause he was raised in a time where magic was taught as something evil and as something to be scared off yet everyone who is significant to him ends up having magic 😂 I'm also happy cause I think he redeemed himself slightly in tower of dawn and kingdom of Ash which means I only hate him for like 2 books before I go back to loving him
