Yes, these two are indeed the same sim, and they’re both beautiful in their own way, no?

Except that the one on top has;

custom skin

custom eyes

custom hair

custom eyebrows

custom facial details

custom makeup

custom 3D eyelashes

custom face keratin map

custom body map

uses every custom slider under the sun

and was created using both a facial and a body slider hack

The sim on the bottom uses no custom content at all, everything she is, is EA made.

Now…what was that about The Sims 4 Sims?

So can we all agree to disagree and just all admit our sims would be nothing without custom content, even if all you have is a few minor tid bits of default replacements here and there, you know it’s true. So stop setting your expectations for EA so high. The director of both The Sims 3 and now The Sims 4 said it himself, The Sims would never be as successful a franchise as it is if it weren’t for it’s passionately creative fanbase, so let them do what they have to do to just get the game to WORK properly, and stop, take a deep breath, give yourself a pat on the back.

After installing Pets and Generations, my game kind of got pushed over the edge lag-wise. So I'm pondering doing a total CC purge and rebuild.

It's probably a good idea, because I haven't ever done it before, and all my CC has been building up since... October of 2011. Yikes. I don't have a ton, but in the beginning, I merged everything together, so I have a couple merged files full of half junk, half stuff I still use. Plus I merged things that shouldn't be merged, like my original default skin and eyes, that I've been stuck with. I still like the eyes but really want to switch my default skins. I think I use a combination of Ephemera's faces with kanno's Moonlight bodies, and Shady's default Multicolored eyes. My downloads are a complete mess. 

Its going to be terrible trying to go through it all though. I have both .package and .sims3pack content, so that makes it worse, too.

I disabled it all and ran the game and it ran much better. Here's a photo of CC-free teenage Hugo, haha. 

Do I really want to undertake this? D:

Thanks for liking them! I'm having fun creating all the characters. I think Andrew Ryan may be next. :D I did Grace awhile ago, I'll have to dig her out.

I used that pose on Eleanor on purpose for that very reason; she was stuck under her mother's rule, and wanted out.

As for Tenenbaum, I haven't gotten around to making a Little Sister yet, but as soon as I do, I'll make sure she can live with all of them! : ]

Is it really necessary to wake up at 3:56 AM to go and run outside in the middle of winter to yell at the trampoline?

Since I now have Pets and Generations, I was finally able to play with Eltham's Drift without tons of missing content. It's so pretty! I need to use it!

On a side note, sorry for inactivity. My game has been sort of broken while I attempt to sort through and organize my cc. : /
