Anne knew she was going to see her childhood friends again, what she didn't expect was for them to surprise her at the end of her shift. After a long group hug that was long awaited, Anne followed them outside talking about her own "amphibia". Sasha already came once a while ago but was happy to hear about the new addition to Anne's new frog family.

 "Hey Boonchuy, that's the second frog family you got into, should we get worried ?" Saha teased. 

After a few laughs they got in the car and started talking about what they were up to now, how their life was going, but into more detail than what they were used to by phone. 

They arrived at the bar Sasha chose, they got to their seats, the three of them beaming with happiness. Anne went to get their drink, a cranberry margarita for Sasha, a mermaid lemonade for Anne, and a virgin Mojito for Marcy. While Anne was gone, Marcy gave Sasha a playful look.

“Say sash, how was it to be a rebel with Anne ?”

A wide grin appeared on Sasha's face, from afar unable to hear the discussion Anne felt goosebump seeing this display of mischief between the two. After a few minute of waiting she returned with the drinks, hearing sasha say: 

“And believe it or not Anne's solution to cross this chasm was, get ready… A FROG LADDER.”

Marcy jolted from her seat with excitement “NO WAY !” 

Anne was already seeing where this was going. 

“Anne ! Is it true that you almost doomed your squad several times ?”

“What ?! No Sasha is greatly exaggerating the details.” Anne layed in front of each of them their drink and sat with them.

“Come on ! Face it Boonchuy, you were a terrible squad leader.'' Sasha was enjoying this way too much to Anne's taste. 

“Yeah sure…” Anne sighted playfully, “But be glad I don’t have a sword anymore !”

Sasha’s expression went from childish mischief to full on teasing, “ Well I have a couple back home if that’s what you want…”

Marcy shook them off their staring contest, “Stop it or I’m getting my crossbow from my bag”, Both of the girls looked at each other with genuine worry on their face and then at marcy with a surprised and puzzled look.

“Nah I’m kidding…” both of them sighted in relief, “OR AM I ?” the look on marcy’s face was worthy of the evilest masterminds. 

They all erupted in laughter, each cherishing this moment, the joy of friendship  found again after so many years. Anne wiped a tear not knowing if it was of laughter or from the overwhelming emotions of their reunion. She glanced at Sasha and felt a slight weight on her heart, she was so glad to be with her right now, so happy to share this moment with one her bestfriend but then, why didn’t she ask her to go out more often ? Despite asking herself this question, as she had countless times before, the answer went to her the same as always, life happened. It was such a simple statement but it bore such weight to it. Was it a bad thing ? not necessarily, this moment they were all sharing only felt more real. 

“No way you could get one pass custom anyway ! "Sasha chuckled, “right ?” The slight trace of worry in her voice only made it sweeter in marcy’s ear.

“Speaking of crossbows ! you guys won’t believe what I was up to back home ! Me and some friends from my C&C group did some live action role playing in a forest ! I built an arm crossbow for the event just like the one I had back in Amphibia ! I was a ranger and ……” 

She then went on about the game and Anne gaze drifted from Sasha to Marcy. She felt a pinch on her heart but not the same as the one when she looked at Sash, this one was… different. She looked at marcy intensely narrating how she climbed a huge tree to do a surprise attack. Damn how she missed it, earring her ramble about things, from text it didn’t feel the same, she often received quite some reading from Marcy, but seeing her right here next to her talk, man that was something. The warm light of the bar was reflecting in her hair and she turned her head to face Anne, her hairs flowing in the motion, Anne's heart sank, she felt a knot in her stomach, Marcy's dark eyes were piercing right through her soul, they were slightly shut due to her excessive smiling. She could spend an eternity looking at her. 

“huh there she goes again, not even gonna complain I kinda missed it.” sasha thought, she had stopped listening, or at least stopped intellectualizing the words coming out of marcy’s mouth. She used this respite to just take in the moment. 

Her friends and her finally ba… “wait is Anne blushing” Anne was eying Marcy sideways, her head resting on her fist while absentmindedly playing with her drink. Sasha’s gaze went from one friend to the other. “Boonchuy don’t tell me you …”  Sasha took a sip from her drink squinting at Anne trying to read into her. 

“Hey this is just what Olivia, euh I mean Aurora did in your story !” Anne interrupted.

“Wait, she was still listening ? even with all that blushing and stuff ?” Sasha took a look at marcy’s. She was smiling, and blushing too… feeling listened to as well as having her web-comic being brought out of nowhere really made her glow. “Wait that look.. THAT BLUSH TOO. N O  W A Y” Sasha sighted at the realistation, gently smiling.. “both my friends have a crush on each other and both of them don’t seem to notice.” Her smile grew wider on her face, this was cute, unexpected but welcome.

Okay if anyone read that thank you :3 really appreciate it ! this is my first fanfic and I'm doing a comic on the side of a part of the discussion (including the blushing of course.) tell me what you think I'm all hears :) Also english is not my mother's tongue so please excuse any mistakes.
