If you use tumblr on PC and have xkit it has an extension that shows you who your mutuals are on your dash. Puts a little binder looking icon beside their name.

Otherwise I think the only way to tell is by searching their name in your followers list.

I literally cannot figure out how to tell if someone follows me or not ; ;

Cain, Lydia, Milo, Fynch (DnD and FFXIV) Radwan, Livia, Claire, Mia, Ty. Most of these characters are from the same story. Literally the only one(technically two) who ISN’T is Fynch.
