One: Looks like he'll tell me to get off his lawn, but then feel bad and give me some sweets

Four: Cool scarf, but eyes that have seen my date and manner of death.

Seven: Looks like he knows a guy who knows a guy, in every situation.

Eight: Looks like he writes poetry and should wear one of those yellow vests that say "nervous", the ones they put on dogs

War: Idk man I just kinda feel sorry for him

Nine: Looks like he has strong opinions on music and Catholicism

Ten: Twink. Looks like he enjoys musicals

Twelve: Looks like he has strong opinions on really obscure historical events

I often joke about how Kate hires anyone the Doctor has met but like when you think about it, it adds to while she adores the Doctor, there is resentment thing.

The Doctor never visited her dying father, in her mind the Doctor low-key abandoned her dad in his last moments.

Her dad, who adored the Doctor the way she does, and she has to live with that one day the same thing will happen to her, that the Doctor simply will never come back. There will be a last time they meet.

She sees all these people the Doctor has just left behind, in a sense abandoned and she doesn't know how to be anything else other than UNIT that is her family life work.

So of course she'd hire the Doctor friends/lovers/fam, the ones left behind to work at UNIT. Because the Doctor isn't there to clean up the mess, their heartbreak, their sadness over any of it. The same way when her dad was dying, the Doctor wasn't there.
