i love erasermic being little shits and doing things to specifically to annoy each other. mic regularly tells aizawa about cats that he “just missed” and frequently sends him on wild goose chases for them and aizawa replies to every one of mic’s verified tweets with candid photos of his worst angles. they’re made for each other.

UA staff ranked by how much I think they play favourites:

All Might (obviously)

Vlad King (his students vs everyone else in the school)

Present Mic (openly supports students he likes. Bullies those he doesn’t)

Aizawa (same as Vlad but he covers it up better)

Power Loader (has favourites but also hates them)

Snipe (focuses all attention on his third years, doesn’t care as much about other year levels)

Midnight (chooses a new favourite each week)

Ectoplasm (will not disclose who his favourites are even under duress. Can make enough clones that it looks like he isn’t giving special treatment)

Lunch Rush (asks handfuls of students to be taste testers for new recipes, no other favouritism detected)

Hound Dog (is the guidance counselor)

Thirteen (has one meltdown per year trying to care for everyone equally)

Recovery Girl (if she doesn’t recognise you when you graduate you get put on a list of favourite students since it means you didn’t need healing the entire time you were at school)

Cementoss (is Normal)

Nezu (cares about but also hates children)

Present Mic’s fans seem to be people who are insomniacs due to how late his show runs and maybe they’re more closeted (lack of a better term)? I know there are some celebrities and other interests we don’t necessarily share with others especially if the thing in question is seen as weird. I hide my doll collection when people come over due to that. So in a sense maybe Mic is an indie artist or just has a really niche fan base. He is the BNHA version of Crocs.

Mic- as loud as he is- his canon merch is very muted. Seen on Manga Fukidashi's casual outfit cap. Just a PM? Damn. Especially comapred to some other heros' merch this is very subtle and I love it. This could show he understands his audience! (dude I'd so appreciate this)

The design really stuck out to me because I didn't expect it from a hero persona as fucking obnoxious as Present Mic

Also- this isn't canon- I know. But its from the stage performance- Basically there were a bunch of UA life skits to promote the show and Mic's was for PYHU radio

Thats- thats so cute.

This combined with One's justice 2 costume descriptions (which he wrote for sure so take this with a grain of salt) where his voice soothes his listeners. I'm sure some people are listening to try to relax.
