They choose not to seek out romance, but no matter what, they somehow find themselves "crushing" on someone for superficial reasons, without feeling actual love or a desire to pursue those feelings. They may long for affection, but their hatred towards romance and other people causes them to have a distaste for romantic relationships. They get into them anyways, thinking it will be different though, almost obsessed with the idea of their romantic fantasy, but they feel little to nothing every time. This can cause these people to be with people that they didn't want to be with in the first place, but they were so busy chasing their fantasy, they lose sight.

They are generally incapable of feeling any romantic attraction past fantasizing about affection and "crushing" on the idea of somebody.
