blows my mind that once upon a time people were able to just. find places. with no maps. just word of mouth, shaped trees, and maybe a little north star action.
as the guy who probably couldn't find his own asshole without a gps or something, that kind of navigational skill is godly, and i have massive respect anyone in modern day who can still do shit like that.
