So as you may have figured, from the fact I never draw him, I’m not a particularly big fan of drawing George

However I’ve discovered I really like drawing him from like 1970-71 y’know the long long hair and big fluffy beard look?

Like I’m serious drawing fluffy beards is so much fun it fills me with so much joy and whimsy today is the happiest I’ve been in months I’m not even kidding

I know it’s not particularly good but it’s not particularly bad either and I had fun making it

Sorry I took a century and a half to respond I don’t have an excuse other than I forgot to check my notifications on tumblr 🗿 Anyways Tintin asks:

20. A character you don’t understand the hype over?

Fandom wise? I can’t really think of any I think the fandom really doesn’t hype up characters too undeservedly?

Moulinsart on the other hand? Well all I can say is for someone on the team for the Tintin website, those whopping 3 whole panels with Mrs. Clarkson were the best 3 panels whoever wrote this has ever read in their life

28. Saddest Tintin moment?

Haddock being willing to sacrifice himself, God man it hurts to think what if he didn't drop his knife and he did cut the rope, I imagine Tintin would persist to find Chang but now he's got that on his shoulders, his friend died in his attempt to save another. Goddamn man also Haddock! Haddock's dead! He's gone! That would be awful enough already!

I might’ve said Haddock learning his crew’s betrayed him because that hurt but tragically I went to a rollercoaster park with some of my mates a while back and one of them yelled “BOO-HOO MUMMY! MUMMY!” in a daft over-exaggerating English accent on one of the rides so I now associate that phrase with that moment
