I would like so much for Dany (and Jon but mostly Dany because I think it would be more powerful for the themes of her story) to escape the chosen one narrative because it would be the best ending for her imo but also because it would be such a funny juxtaposition to Stannis desperately trying to break into the chosen one narrative. Imagine Jon and Dany meet and hear each other’s tales and both are going “oh thank fuck I don’t have to be the chosen one after all

Most of the time when people burn to death it is not but most of time people aren’t get blasted full force by a giant flamethrower. But idk I’m just trying to make myself feel better about Laena’s death in the show, amongst others, imagining that it was at least quick. Someone else timed the deaths of the Tarlys and said it was about 4 seconds between the flames hitting them and their bodies disintegrating so that’s pretty fast at least
