I Just Recently Saw A Post Abt Proship Stuff And Im Here To Remind Yall That Im Not Proship And If You

I just recently saw a post abt Proship stuff and I’m here to remind y’all that I’m not Proship and if you are, please just block me and spare us both the hassle.

I want to clarify, Proship is often defined as a person who is willing to ship any two characters together despite that ship being morally wrong. (Such as pedophilic, zoophilic, or incestuous and other similar dynamics) this is usually covered by claiming that “the characters are fictional so do whatever you want.”

I need to clarify that if you want to ship two characters that are bad for each other or just incompatible or whatever, that’s your prerogative. As long as they’re both adults and able to consent, I don’t care. (I’m not even gonna touch on shipping underage characters bc I don’t really do that)

My issue comes when the relationships are predatory like mentioned above. Shipping incest, pedophilia, etc. does not come from a place of innocence.

I’m not starting a witch hunt, but I want to be clear where I stand in the matter.

Spiderverse really said "Your grief was not necessary. It served no purpose. It did not make you better or kinder or wiser. It did not make the world better. You did not need to suffer to do good. You should never have had to suffer the way you did. Grief is so strong and so painful that you had to justify it to yourself in order to accept it. You convinced yourself you are better because of it. That the good things you do are because of your grief, instead of in spite of it. You needed to believe it in order to move past the pain. But the moment you believe your suffering was necessary, you begin to believe the suffering of others is necessary. And when you believe the suffering of others is necessary, you begin to be complicit in it and eventually begin actively and purposefully causing it."

and it was so real for that.

Y’all get mad at Jessica - the black Woman doing her job and trying to hold the multiverse together so her baby can have a universe to live in more than y’all blame Peter, the whites man who knew and trained Miles and still chose to believe he was an anomaly.

Like Peter TAUGHT Miles how to swing and he still was like ‘oh yeah miguel that makes sense yeah miles isn’t suppose to be spiderman’ HOW

Macaque is nervously patting MK on the back. Macaque is saying " Good work Kiddo." Mk's face is filled with terror.
Mk drops his staff and in a hurry tries to take off his jacket. Mk is saying "Wait." "No. no. no."
The background grows darker as Mk continues to struggle to take off his jacket. Mk is saying "Not again." "Please." "Please..."
MK holds his jacket with shakey hands and sees that the symbol on the jacket has not changed. The background is even darker. Mk says "It... it's normal."
The background returns to normal as it shows Mk tightly holding onto his jacket as he sighs. MK tells himself "It's okay..."
A close up of macaque is now shown on screen. He looks confused as Mk says "I'm still..."
Macaque has a thought bubble saying "But Wukong said..."
Macaque looks in shock with a background of various screenshots from the Episode "Macaque" from Lego Monkie kid. MK says "Me.."
Macaque's thought bubble says "Oh right."

People Don't just forget...

Inspired by this post from @hyperfixation-tangentopia

Bonus under the cut!!

Macaque is curled up and doodling in the dirt with his staff. Macaque says: "Okay. Damn. It's not like I wanted to be a good mentor anyways..."
Macaque has a look of pride has he continues to draw.
Macaque says: "I mean, look at me!" "I have panic attacks all the time and I'm doing fine."
Macaque realizes what he said and looks at his doodle in deep thought. The doodle is that of Wukong with "x"s for eyes and his tongue sticking out in a cartoonish way.
Macaque continues drawing, but is now more pensive. Macaque says: "Okay." "I'm starting to see why Mei suggested therapy."
The end of his tail is thumping against the ground.
