Anyone else really disappointed on with the “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” Oscar performance. I only watched the performance and I didn’t like it. Nothing against Megan Thee Stallion, Luis Fonsi, and Becky G(I think they are talented in their own right) but I really wanted the whole cast to be the center of the attention and see the whole song. Having celebrities sing when they don't have a connection to “Encanto” felt really cheap.

Having Shakira, Maluma, and Carlos Vives singing the song would’ve been an okay substitute if the entire cast couldn’t come since they are singers from Colombian and “Encanto” takes place there.

Dolores Headcanon (Modern AU)

If she lived in the modern age, Dolores would like and relate to Taylor Swift and Adele’s songs, especially “You Belong With Me” and “Someone Like You”

Most people know Taylor Swift and Adele’s music are mostly about lost love and inner turmoil and I think Dolores would connect with them. We don’t know how long Dolores has had a crush on Mariano but I’m going to say for like a few years. “You Belong With Me” is about a girl pining after a guy who is with another and she thinks they don’t fit as a couple. This can pretty much be Dolores’ mindset on the engagement. “Someone Like You” is about woman mourning the loss of a love who is marrying another woman. Again, pretty similar to the engagement circumstances.

Current(19yo) Me:

I saw a post on Instagram about how Captain America dying would’ve been better than Iron Man. I honestly agree. The writers intended for Cap to miss Peggy and feel disconnected from the current world. Add those components to his self-sacrificing attitude and him making the wish would’ve made sense and been good. I know Iron Man’s final development was to throw away his arrogance and sacrifice himself but I would’ve much rather him retire with his family and help the world by making inventions for the better of the world and start a new generation of Iron Man.

Although I’m really enjoying Castlevania so far(I’m currently finished with the 2nd season), I wish Dracula’s defeat was extended to Season 3 instead of done in Season 2. Everything felt so rushed and plot heavy to make it to that point. For me, Trevor, Sypha, and Alucard’s bond didn’t feel as strong as fans made it out to be. They felt like friends by the end but not close enough for me to believe Alucard will miss them a lot. I think two or three more episodes of the trio bonding would’ve made it better. This feeling kind of follows with Trevor x Sypha. I love their moments but I need more of them before they become a couple.

Also, I wish there was more limitations and power scaling done for the characters, mostly for Sypha. I wish there was more development of her strength rather than her being so great with magic without repercussions. For example, when Sypha used the spell to move Dracula’s castle, which is said and shown to be difficult, she didn’t look tired at all and continued to use her magic without difficulty. I like that she is so capable but seeing limitations makes her more realistic and gives her room to grow. I will say her difficulty fighting Dracula helped slightly alleviate that opinion, yet I want to see Sypha struggle and grow. I hope the next two seasons will give me that.
