Trying to put some studies to work with a sketch of @corviisquire ‘s oc Ranne! I realized I’ve never drawn them so here’s a little bust :)

Creature concept:

Eldritch sea beast/titan that speaks in whale song and clicks. Intricate mask and shell-like helmet. Helm and gauntlets covered in barnacles. Coral and kelp grow off it. Pale seafoam color palette.

Some sort of moon knight. Moon shaped helm and spear like weapon. Pointed feet and fog surround it.

Patron to Ranne who has a fuckass bird that clings to him like a cloak. Kinda taking an old OC and putting him in a Elden Ring blender with some hints of Dragons Dogma and then putting him back together again.

Creaturing myself: Lean more into the doll aspects and adding some animalistic elements.

Mononoke OC???: Fortune teller who has vague fish accents and a SWORD.

It was pretty fun. The lead singer was good and he could scream really well. There were too female singers and I could tell they were theater kids fs.

also darya if you see this they played Brand New and yes I was belting the lyrics

going to go see an emo cover band! I also bought so many tickets for so many bands over the summer. hopefully they play the good shit unlike that one time I went to Emo Nite and they played the shittiest trap music I’ve ever heard. I want to hear some taking back Sunday, yellowcard, and story of the year ‼️
