I just came across a theory that Dale is a *weirdo* with children. You know what I mean. Apparently it's implied throughout the film. If there's a credible reason to believe this, then okay. But I personally think some of this theory stems from reading into certain scenes and seeing something sinister in them, like the way he speaks to the doll, kisses the doll and the interaction with the girl in the store. And then it makes me angry because this is exactly the kind of thing that would happen if Dale wasn't a character in a film. If Dale was real, I think he would be accused of this. He could be the local innocent weirdo who's terrible at socialising and trying to fit in. He has one strange yet innocent interaction with a kid to make her laugh, then gets accused of being a *weirdo*. All kinds of rumours would spread from that moment, he'd probably be shunned even further and feel awful for simply not fitting in. And it would all be down to someone taking a dislike to him because he acts out of the norm, and for no other reason. This could apply to any real life person in this situation. And then it makes me sad.

My stepdad just got rid of the puppy he got for my mom a year ago. His name was Gotti. He just let him go somewhere, not even a shelter. He let him go in the woods near a stream. Winters coming soon, it's already hoodie season and he's only ever been in a cage for most of his life. He thinks Gotti will be fine out there just he freaks out when he sees a bunny. We got him when he was only 2 weeks old, he won't know what to do out there and there could be bacteria that could make him sick in the water. He's only a puppy, he won't survive out there. We have bob cats and wolves and bears. He's food aggressive so I doubt he'll last long out there. He's a bit violent, I'll admit but that's cause my stepdads way of training him was whipping him with a leash and keeping him in a cage 24/7. He also didn't do well around the kids but that's cause they always scream and that made him nervous. I don't want him out there where he has no one to protect him or care for him. I don't care if he would have immediately been put down, at least it wouldn't be as painful as any death he's gonna meet out there. I hope he's ok.
