Akaashi Keiji knew you liked him.

Of course he would, given that he pays attention to every detail in his surroundings— a trait that he had to inhabit at the beginning of his highschool volleyball career, always having to keep Bokuto's mood and well-being in check. Aside from that, your crush was extremely obvious; anyone would have noticed from how you would always avoid his gaze, how you get easily flustered around him, and how you would always stammer when you start talking to him. At this point, Keiji wouldn't be surprised if the stray cat you've been feeding knew your not-so-secret crush about him as well.

Akaashi Keiji was observant, and you? Not so much— maybe that's why until now, you were still hesitating to confess, afraid that it might ruin the friendship you have built when in fact, he also feels the same way.

Gaining this as his advantage, Keiji decided to push your buttons (in a good way) and he already had everything planned out. He would tease you little by little until you reach your limit. And of course he doesn't mean any harm from that, if anything, he actually wants you to confess to him already so he can take you out on a date.

And that plan starts now.

Keiji sits down close to you— maybe a little bit too close, too close that your thighs would be touching already if it wasn't for the 2 inch gap that is barely separating you.

With this, your eyes immediately went to the floor. Cute, Akaashi thinks to himself.

"Y/n," the setter starts to which you hum. "I need help with English and I heard you're good at it,"

(In truth, Keiji was in the top 5 of English class. But that was all he could think of … especially since that's what you were exceptionally excellent at)

Your heart hammers against your chest— just the thought of being alone with Akaashi and having to actually talk to him made your heart beat erratically. You were pretty sure he could hear it now, although scientifically, it wasn't possible. (But still, the thought of him hearing it was so embarrassing that it brought heat to your cheeks)

Akaashi glances at your ear with a strand of hair tucked behind it. Bright red was visible from where he sat and Keiji chuckles to himself— could you be any cuter than this?

"I was thinking, would it be alright for you to teach me later? After Volleyball practice?" He says as he moves closer to you— this time there was no gap between you two. He made sure it was breathy enough to tickle the sides of your face and push you over the edge.

A surge of heat went towards your cheeks once again.

"Y-yes! T-that would be fine!" You stutter before instinctively moving away from your crush. You almost fell off of the bench— well at least two of Keiji's goals happened.

Akaashi grins, "Make sure you keep your words, sweetheart," (somewhere in the gym, Konoha fake vomits)

That was the last straw.

Your heart just bursted and if your face was placed beside a Tomato, no one could have told the difference. In pressure of what to say, you suddenly blurt out loudly:

"Of course, bud!"

(Somewhere in the gym, Konoha laughs)

Keiji didn't know whether he should be celebrating over the fact that he broke you or should he be rethinking the decisions he made because he just got friend-zoned by the person who has a crush on him. A crush on him.

On the other side of the spectrum, you find yourself slapping yourself mentally. Did you just accidentally leave your crush on friendzone? You can't believe it— you certainly were at a different level of helpless.

Back to Akaashi's own thoughts, he only shrugs. You both have more time later to maybe develop things a little bit more.

omg to add on to the anon that talked about y/n and gojo divorce and co-parenting/acting civil. First of all, that would honestly be devastating because it’s exactly what y/n didn’t want, a child to be born in a family that wouldn’t provide love and support from both parents. It’s not fair to y/n or gojo but especially the child who would grow up with a complicated relationship to both parents. But y/n would definitely do her best to provide the child with the best care and love there is. just imagine that their child (which I imagine to be a baby boy) is just the ULTIMATE MAMAS BOY. Assuming that they live apart because of their divorce, the son (who we shall refer to as sachiro in honor of sensei off duty) will live with y/n since she’s the mother and because gojo will be too stressed and busy from work🥱

BUT JUST IMAGINE

y/n dropping off sachiro at gojo’s penthouse only for sachiro to cry and cling onto her because the penthouse is too dark compared to y/n’s hone and the vibes aren’t for him since he likes his mom more. sachiro loves cheek kisses FROM HIS MOM so when gojo tried kissing his cheek once he literally smacked hojo’s face with his surprisingly strong toddler hands. y/n made it a habit of hers to squish her cheek against sachiro’s cheek because baby cheeks🥺🥺 and gojo takes note of how sachiro always smiles and gives y/n little kisses and babbles adorably each time. SO HE TRIES- and sachiro’s the mvp, he screamed and cried😌his first words would most DEFINITELY be “ma-ma” and gojo would just try to get him to say “da-da” BUT SACHIRO JUST OUTRIGHT REFUSES😭

“Sachiro~~ say, ‘da-da.’

“Ma-ma.”

“Da-da.”

“Ma-ma.”

“DA-DA!”

and then when y/n comes to pick up sachiro he would be so happy, gojo would think his son turned into another fucking person because he’s an absolute Angel around you and a nightmare around his dad.

omg and imagine gojo one day goes to y/n’s home to pick up their son and just sees them cuddling together and napping on her bed and HES SO TEMPTED TO JOIN THEM AND IS ABOUT TO but then y/n wakes up. And she’ll gently nudge sachiro to wake him up like “sachiro, daddy’s here.” (Gojo is screaming internally that you referred to him as daddy- NO SHIT SHERLOCK YOU’RE SACHIROS FATHER) and sachiro is awake but he just shuts his eyes tighter and pretends to be asleep because his toddler mind thinks gojo will go the fuck away if he don’t see him😭

anyways, sachiro is a mama’s boy and there’s nothing wrong with that when his mother is y/n😌
