What if, after Dazai died in the beast universe-instead of letting Chuuya go insane he let him know before hand. Dazai told him he was finally going to jump and instead of mourning his death he wanted him to do something good. Something that helps saving other peoples lives.

So thats when he decided to go to the ADA, alongside Oda and Akutagawa. Maybe for once in his life he could make Dazai happy in the afterlife. Living the life that Oda told him to live in the real world. To protect the one Dazai wanted to give a second chance. Maybe when he was alive he’d never admit it but he loved Dazai to death.

Chuuya x ADA!Reader Angst

You worked at the Detective Agency, he worked in the mafia. Fated to cross paths only in battle-except for the one time you teamed up to defeat the guild.

He loved you, despite being from different jobs and if anything, despite being enemies. Every time you’d fight him he’d go easy on you-enough so that no one gets hurt. It couldn’t be helped. The others noticed it too a bit how he’d always talk about you and always find ways to see you.

Even as you fight he’d complement your style, how hard you hit, your hair, your ability, anything he could think of just to compliment you.

Everything in him snapped as soon as he saw you half dead on the ground. Lying there as the vampires almost crushed you. If if weren’t for Dazai he’d have been long gone thanks to his corruption. He knew he had to get you out of there and go to Yosano.

After all the plans, Fyodor almost surviving-Atsushi and akutagawa finally defeating him alongside his monster. Chuuya questions if life is worth it in the Mafia anymore. To work at the agency with you sounds like a dream to him-if they accepted Dazai they could accept him too-right? That way he could protect you on all your missions together.

To be able to come into the office every day and say hello, to see your smile and smell your perfume-sounds like a dream to him. Talking about various missions (though his always consisted of physical combat). You’d go to them together and he could easily protect you. Chuuya wouldn’t need to hide from anyone and he could be by your side.

But in the end he knows that it could never happen. He feels to guilty about his past and if he left bad things would happen. Forever locked away in the mafia.

It was no surprise to Dazai that he heard Chuuya got caught and sent to a prison far away for his crimes, time to reflect knowing Mori would probably bail him out anyway with how rich he was. But until then he wanted nothing more but to spend eternity with you-even if he had to atone for his sins to do so.

- Dan Heng loves physicals touch but he’s never the one to initiate it

- So, he actually loves how clingy you are (but he doesn’t admit it most times)

- As long as you don’t interfere with any missions or such

- He’s still a bit iffy with showing physical affection in front of the express, but if you need it he doesn’t mind it a little

- He can’t handle March’s teasing sometimes

- If you do cling to him infront of the Astral Express then he will start blushing a bit and feel hot

- Of course he does talk to you about it just so that you won't be too extreme infront of them but he is okay with some things

- Dan Heng also wants to respect if none of them like when others do PDA infront of them so he might ask the express & keep it in mind

- In private, he loves your clinginess & He secretly never wants to let you go

- Chuuya LOVES how clingy you are! Its like a dream to him since he is very touch starved

- But he does have his boundaries, so here are some places he is willing to let you cling to him:

His Office with just you two

On missions with just you two

Your shared home

On the train after a long work day (or in the backseat of a taxi)

- Then here are some he would not let you cling to him in

Mori's office

In public while walking

In front of any of his subordinates or enemies of the PM

- Obviously, he wouldn't want to lose respect from his boss or subordinates

- At the same time he wants to keep you safe from his enemies so he'd rather not have you cling to him then (it also could affect his own fighting style)

- Neuvilette doesn't mind if you are clingy

- But he also would prefer to keep these actions in private, you cannot do it in front of others and especially not during trials/work period in the opera house

- The only exception to the work rule is his private office when no one is there-no one is watching after all, why torture you any longer?

- He can be a bit awkward at first with physical affection but over time he also gets used to it and your clinginess

- Infront of close friends its also okay (depending on if they're okay with it or not)
