Cream saw Shadow once and immediately thought "Cool uncle material" and started to follow him like a duckling, everytime he notices that she's following him, he pick her and carry her back to her mom, but since he doesn't know if she has a problem with velocity he just normally walks. It's in those walks where he started to like her more and more and started accepting that she may actually like him and he may try spend a little bit more time playing with her before giving her back to her mom.

Vanilla was a bit different, the first time Shadow brought Cream for her, she thanked and didn't think too much about him, worried about Cream following a strange, it took a while seeing Shadow bring her daughter back, noticing little things about his behavior and the way he talks to Cream to notice that this is just a case of "Really sweet person who just happened to have a resting bitch face" and started to invite him in to drink or eat something.

Shadow didn't showed them all his Black arms features at once, it was the little things that made them notice that Shadow may not be like the others Hedgehogs. When he extended his tail to hold Cream while carrying a picnic basket and a map for Vanilla, opening some extra eyes when he's distracted with Cream and Vanilla walks in, when asked why his face attend got green when with them and explaining that his blood is green. It was a slow thing but when the two Rabbits proved to him that they wouldn't look differently at him because of that he started to let them appear more.

Once Cream saw that Shadow can glow she made her mom buy her red Christmas lights, the next day Shadow came to visit she was wrapped in red lights and saying that now she's just like uncle Shadow, he almost cried when he saw it.

Cream noticed that Shadow don't eat, but she thought it was only an adult thing, he's not a rabbit like them, so he's a different adult than mom. She heard Vanilla comment that Shadow may not like what she cooks and tell her mom that is not like that, uncle Shadow just don't eat at all! And oooh, a lot of things clicked on Vanilla's head after that.

Shadow teaches Cream by playing because that was how Maria teached him when he was fresh-out-of-tube, it was just little things. Teaching her first aid while playing medics, how to deal with strangers while playing cops etc etc.

Tails was the first one to see Shadow babysitting Cream, he saw Shadow alone and thought he was going to attack him but than Cream appeared holding a big chocolate Donut with red sprinkles, asking him to pick her up and started to talk how "this donut remember you right Uncle Shadow!" And he just gave her a little smile and agreed. When she got distraught eating the donut he quickly looked at Tails with a Glare that promised any kind of pain if he tell this to anyone.

One thing I wanted to ask if you wanted to hear or talk about is if we included Dadow in this, or Cream and Vanilla with Shadow as Cream’s uncle, I think both things are a little underrated in the Boom universe.

Oooh believe me, to sustain his weight those wings HAVE to be massive, this hedgehog can hide at least 4 Cream's and 2 Tails in his wings, cuddling with him when his wings are out is probably a dream of a heavy blanket.

Shadow cursing like a sailor everytime he fell and hit something when learning how to fly is my new religion, thank you.

Shadow using his tail to grab and carry his kids (Cream, Tails and/or Silver) is the cutest mental image I may have.

After some time, I think Shadow would trust team sonic to help him babysitting Silver, but only if Amy is on charge, he doesn't trust the other ones alone with his little Star. And Sticks, hurt me to say that Silver probably would be deadly scared of Sticks cuz of the way she talks about aliens and stuff, but I think one day she would be one of his favorites.

Shadow would use his wings as a heavy blankets in cases of Shutdowns, or a place for him and Silver to glow their stripes as a joke, or making patterns of glows to communicate in situations where is dark and they can't talk.

Shadow and Silver Chirping and tweeting to each other actually melts my heart, Shadow always incentives Silver to chirp and tweet everytime he feels he needs to make his little noises cuz Shadow knows how feels like having to hide this part of himself and doesn't want Silver to feel this way. So everytime Silver chirp or tweet Shadow reciprocate whiteout hesitating (Team sonic though it was kinda weird at the beginning, but now they think is actually adorable).

Team Sonic is the ones who need to take Shadow away from Eggman cuz Silver is pretty happy that his father is taking his aggressive feelings on someone who isn't himself, Silver thinks is more health that way. He only stops when Amy points to him that Silver may want some kind of support after this "intense traumatic situation" and Shadow actually let her have that and goes straight for Silver searching forpre bruises.

Eclipse would be the coolest Uncle, Silver loves him, he gives piggy backs, play with him, gives him good things to eat, hugs him everytime he wants and gives anything he asks for. Eclipse also would BATH him in physical and emotional affection when he noticed that he can also do the mental link.

Cream would be a cool big sis and Vanilla the coolest auntie who can bake good things. Honestly Vanilla's support would be one of the main motivations that Shadow stayed with Silver cuz if he felt he wasn't good enough as a parent he would give Silver to someone he thinks would be a better parent.
