it doesn’t matter who is to blame for the fall of camelot. if you ask each individual knight who is to blame they will all point at themselves. oh if only i had been a better king, if only i had been a better knight, if only i had been less of a person and more of an ideal. that’s not how it works bitch all of them were people simply trying their best and the only way for them to be absolved of their past failings is to recognise that fact. that’s literally what fate route is about.

Hopes For Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

OKAY, OKAY, OKAY I'm CALM NOW I JUST, WHAT THE FUCK GAMEFREAK?! LET LEGENDS ARCEUS BE A THING FOR ANOTHER YEAR! OKAY, I LOVE THESE GAMES THOUGH?! IT'S JUST WHAT THE FUCK?!

Okay now that my rants over here are my hopes for the Gen IX games!

* Feel like a main series game. For all the talk the PLA is main series aside from some call-forwards, it feels more like a glorified side game. This is thanks to only having 242 Mons to Swsh's approx. 651, the incredibly limited move pool, the bare-bones post-game with nothing to do after you fill your dex, and the lack of multiplayer. This game sometimes feels like the Let's go games but with extra steps. Speaking of those games

* Give us the option to interact with our Pokemon immediately after events. In Let's go, checking on the Partner after a TRio battle would show their exasperated reactions. Give us that!

*Optional affection bonuses. I loved the fact that we could play with our Pokemon and it would affect our battles. The messages I'd receive ranged from heartwarming to hilarious, and having my mon tank or dodge an attack made me feel great because I took the time to work on its affection. That said, I know many people aren't fans of it. So, take the middle road, have their interactions, have the messages, but let the actual bonuses received from those interactions be optional.

* Just be good enough that PLA feeling like an overhyped cash grab thanks to coming out the same year as it is worth it.

I love Pokemon, I really truly do, but I'm not so blind to its flaws that I think they're perfect. Please let these games be as incredible as the reveal trailers imply they'll be.

My only PLA Complaints

The lack of regional forms for other Pokemon aside from Alolan Vulpix. I like Vulpix don't get me wrong, I just like Galarian Ponyta a bit more. It stands out even more because like with Runerigus and Perrzerker, Gamefreak did let Scizor and Weavile in the game. You could've had a mission where we search Cobolt Coastlands for a bunch of Alolan Raichu, let the rival the Rival have a Mr. Rime.

The weird lack of multi-hit moves. I gave my Espeon Apollo Dazzingling Gleam so he could one-shot the Murkrow that hang around an Alpha Honchkrow I wanted, only for it to take out ONE OF THE FOUR!! Also during the main campaign when you fight the Wardens (Except Mai, Lian, and Ingo) they gang up on you with multiple Pokemon! Yeah they are all low leveled and have a bad habit of wasting there turns but still!

The lack of optional affection bonus. Whenever my Pokemon in previous games endured a hit it always left me with a sense of pride because I took the time toraise their affection levels up. So not seeing it come back here is sorta disappointing. Especially with how damage was revamped, meaning low level Mons can one-shot your team!

These are just little nitpicks, I still love the game (and in fact I'm getting ready to start my third playthrough) but it still has flaws
