Bit Of Advice For People Who Dont Wanna See Negativity:
bit of advice for people who don’t wanna see negativity:
-delete tiktok for the next week or two (idk if it’s just me but no matter how well I curate my fyp I always stumble upon dsmp negativity, with this reveal there is ABSOLUTELY gonna be neg stuff)
-if you’re on twitter DO NOT look at trending for the next few days/weeks as well. Please.
- good addition from- @evaenian-crow , BLOCK PEOPLE, make use of that button, don’t dwell on it just block and move on
- don’t look thru quote retweets!!! just leave them alone trust me
-better yet, DELETE TWITTER. keep in contact with your friends elsewhere that isn’t a social media app.
I just wanted to say that bc even tho I don’t watch dreams stuff much anymore, bodyshaming/things similar to that always make me sick to see. Like as someone with severe facial and body dysmorphia I hold back so many horrid thoughts of myself and I would never want to say those things to another person.
With someone as big as a following as dream, there is bound to be negative stuff about his reveal. And I know that for a lot of people it will genuinely hurt to see that stuff.
I know I don’t have much of a following but if I can help at least one person feel a bit more safe/happy that would be great. anyone else wants to add anything pls do :]
stay safe everyone!!

How to Make Interesting Worldbuilding Choices

We can’t assume that everyone knows the world we’re talking about, right? Luckily, author and previous Camp NaNoWriMo counselor Cass Morris has a few suggestions to help us more deeply explore our worldbuilding:
One of the most powerful things we can do as writers is create a world. What we write holds a mirror up to reality, where we can examine and criticize our own world or try to build a better one. We get to play god with our characters, and in doing so, we exercise a great deal of power in what we choose to reflect, to magnify, to laud, and to condemn.
So how can we make interesting choices, rather than relying on stale tropes, biased perspectives, or common assumptions about “the way things are” or “the way things were”?
Here are five basic concepts I suggest you explore to develop a richly detailed and unique world:
