He felt like a walking contradiction. The most diffident man somehow embodying confidence. Commanding attention as he steps into the room, the same way he purloined my heart. His perspicacious tendencies haunting my existence. Though alone in mind and body, not wishing to deal with the myopic minds of the perverted art world, I was just as entranced as any other. I stumbled nervously through the first half of our conversation, being cognizant of my word choice. Slowly opening up as he guided the conversation like a smooth shot of whiskey down the hatch. His curiosity hung like a lightbulb overhead, each question causing my prattling ability to peak through. With empty champagne glasses we conquered the ambivalent night. Bolstering bombastic, petty lies to the hungry elite, just looking for a taste of what he has.
