It is a kind sentiment, but you would perhaps think better of it if you were to know the horror that is Erik's face... but he is grateful nonetheless for the gesture.

Erik is feeling... surprised, perhaps. This inquiry that you've left -- you seemed to have worried that it would be too strong, but Erik does not think so.

It is simply a strange request, to hear how Erik is feeling. And to have one send "all their love"... Strange indeed.
