I know he stays at the base camps in-game but I can’t help but imagine Professor Laventon spends a good amount of time just following the protagonist around. The protag is actively squaring up with alpha Pokémon while Laventon nervously take notes from the sidelines. He has never feared more for his life but he is getting SO much research done
