Summary: The prefect of Ramshackle dorm. Known for being shrouded in gossip and secrecy, she is on a mission to learn all she can about the world outside her home. Why, you ask? So she can maintain just as much power as the other students of Night Raven College.

Filled to the brim with wit and faux charisma, Yuu adores the spotlight. She isn't one to care whether the attention is good or bad, as long as it is on her... That is, if they have less influence than she does. She is fluent in acting, lying, kissing up, and manipulating people to get on their good side. Those who are placed above her on the social ladder will be very familiar with it.

Yuu couldn't give less of a shit about morals. She finds survival, safety, and social standing to be much more important. It doesn't matter who she has to metaphorically stomp on. Her desire for power to obtain safety, though, stems from a long list of insecurities. Don't get me wrong, her vanity isn't just for show, but she is, indeed, capable of feeling guilt.

Author's Notes: "Yuu" is a character who has been around as an idea for a long time, approximately just as long as Jocia, but she wasn't anything more than a plot device until around 2018. I finally fully developed her and gave her a set design and personality that was more than just "Jocia's twin." Previously she acted as a goal to work towards in some of my stories, but now she often takes on the role of antagonist or a foil character.

oooooOOO Aight aight! This is a fun one!

💕How is your OC with physical affection? What are their boundaries? Do they enjoy being touched or is that a no-go? Is there any reason behind this?

Jocia's love language is physical affection, 100%. It's how she gives love, shows love, and one of the few ways she enjoys receiving love be it platonic or romantic. Though she isn't the touchy feely type towards newer individuals. Try to hug her too early on and you might get socked. On the other side of the spectrum, though, she loves sweeping others up into hugs. She is usually the one to first enact physical affection, just remind her not to squeeze so ya don't pop (She is secretly a bit of a dork like that).

As for why, she isn't consciously sure. Among her other siblings in the Gains family, it is how she has always shown she cares: a ruffle of the hair, a light/joking jab in the shoulder, or lifting them up and spinning them around. In reality, though, it's something her father did with her when she was itty bitty. She has grown to replicate that.

📚What would your OC do with forbidden knowledge? Would they tell anyone? Use it for good or evil? How would it change their outlook on life, if at all?

I guess that would depend on what type of knowledge we're talking about! Does it support her ideology or completely destroy it? For the sake of answering this question, I'm going to assume it destroys it.

Given the implied scale, I doubt Jocia would fully understand the severity at first. She would most definitely inform others which she trusted, and do her best to talk things through. Depending on whether the world is better off knowing or not, she may work to protect this knowledge and keep it away from possible dangers. She would take on the role of a guardian. Given her general lack of understanding, she would not use it. Furthermore, she wouldn't let anyone.

Changing her views may lead to a LOT of inner conflict and guilt on her end, but she is very willing to change her behavior. She will gladly protect those who need protecting, but don't expect her to betray those she has already known. She is far too stubborn and loyal.

Summary: The local delinquent of Royal Sword Academy. She has a threatening aura that keeps other classmates far away from her, and she is only a student in name. She spends most of her time attempting to find a way home, even if that includes sneaking out of campus and skipping class.

With a spicy hot temper equivalent to a ghost pepper, Jocia is no stranger to fights. Her anger often gets the better of her, landing her in all sorts of trouble. However, her intentions are often good. She works harder than most in order to defend and protect those she cares for, even to the point where she would prioritize them over herself.

Similarly to her sister, Yuu, she is aware that she is not a great person. Unlike Yuu, though, she does have a set of morals. She works to better herself, and she doesn't go out of her way to harm those she sees as innocent.

Honestly, it is something I've been contemplating for awhile now. There are a few individuals/characters that I think she would have a REALLY fun dynamic with, though I am incredibly biased for toxic x toxic somehow equals healthy LMAO. Like "oh hon? You're going out to commit warcrimes again today and manipulating the masses? Oh, alright! Mua mua ily come back safe."

Two negatives cancel out and make a positive ig? LOL, my Yuu isn't the type to gaslight gatekeep manipulate her lover anyway.

Here are some ideas I've had so far though:

Azul: Enemies > rivals > friends > lovers. They both scheme. They both scheme so much. To the point where it is almost like she'd WILLINGLY go and barter regarding deals, only to deadass get nowhere hours later.

Idia: "EXCUSE ME, HE ASKED FOR NO PICKLES" it gives roger rabbit and jessica rabbit. I haven't thought too much about it outside that OoPSY

Malleus: Needs entertainment x entertaining KFNDN. Just. Infodumping for hours about interests, and introducing him to the more cursed side of internet culture. Like just badly explaining slang so dragon boy uses it wrong LOL. Mayhaps she did that on purpose, mayhaps not.

Jade: Similar to Malleus and Azul??? Though she has very similar tactics when it comes to gathering information, getting what she wants, and hiding her true intentions behind a fake smile. I'm really not quite sure about this one, but it is on my mind lately.

Tbh most of these could also be platonic and that is what I'm mostly focused on atm, but I do want to involve romance more in TCOAV as time goes on!

Yuu does also exist in other AUs of original worlds me and my partner have created, given she's existed for awhile before TWST was made, and she's incredibly biased towards those who tolerate her teasing n bullshit, given its her flawed way of showing affection. (She is shipped with one of my partners OCs there :D) (I'm an AU fanatic)
