Just stopping by to say how beautiful your art is! I absolutely love them, especially the twst ones, and Yuu Shi is sooo cool!!

HMMM. It's been awhile since I started my art journey, but if I had to look back on it- i'd say I mainly wish I went into it with a more positive mind set.

Drawing is for YOU! Drawing is for fun, whatever medium you want to use. It's very important to allow yourself to simply let the flow of creativity take you. Improvement will come naturally!

Art can take a LOT of time, which is why it is so important to have that "fuck it, we ball" mentality with it sometimes. I had a REALLY bad habit of often getting discouraged by internet numbers or comparing my rate of progress to other artists. It is different for everyone! So my main piece of advice is simply to have fun with it.

If you're looking for more technical advice, there are a TON of guides out there made by other artists containing anatomy tips, coloring/blending guides, color theory, and more!!! Searching around and finding which ones feel the most natural for you is very important. I've personally found it useful to gradually incorporate different methods into my own style, perhaps from different games/shows/media, and seeing what feels the best for me to do.

As someone who started off self taught then gradually went into art classes, youtube guides and classes in particular will be your besty.

Also picrew is an amazing resource if you plan on getting into character design!!! It helps get a good image of the character and make many different ideas before you decide to sit down and draw them yourself.
