I had the most freaking vivid Steven Universe AU dream ever last night IstG. I can't remember every minute detail which SUCKS but basically I think Pink was found out about the whole Rose thing, and this resulted in causing a rift between the Diamonds and she basically just stayed on Earth, I think? Pearl was still there, but I forget her context. And during this Pink had like some sort of curse or something, that I'm pretty sure was caused by her whole spiritual power stuff, and she became a tad more bitter and potentially weaker? Lost detail. Anyway, at some point, she tries to reunite with the other Diamonds and hold another ball in hopes of mending things. Blue and Yellow are open to trying, but White outright rejects and shuns Pink during the event. This results in a Pink outburst, which leaves White with a crack along her right eye. Can't recall what happens next, but Pink ends up back on Earth, doubly depressed and sour. She tries to reconnect with the lower gems, become Rose Quartz and start another rebellion, but no one wants to follow her cause of the lie the first time. The only one still there for her is Pearl, and they kinda just exist after that. More lost details I think. Anyway, I'm pretty sure humans didn't get wiped out or anything and civilization did develop, and Steven does come into being, but Greg isn't the dad. There's like this weirdly specific thing about an apartment building I think Pearl and Pink live in and a janitor there, and Pink just being spontaneous? And the curse is still a thing, and Pink is just kinda done with it all. Pearl still comforts her though. I'm pretty sure that's where the dream ended though, but I like to imagine Greg became like an adoptive father figure for Steven? Oh, and the Cluster never happened. Not sure what happened to anyone else, dream mostly just focused on Pink.

This has been scratching my brain for so long but FIRST, I LOVE your work so very much like ur writing is *chefs kiss* SO GOOD. One of my favorites of your's might be the "one last star" story (AND "SCARLETT MASQUERADE")! Okay now to the brain scratcher I have listen to a song that reminds me so much of eclipse from OLS that it makes me insane!

And yeah, I can see how that would remind someone of Eclipse, especially during arc 3! That poor boy really went through it. Like, he just started being able to process emotion again thanks to you, and then, BAM, everything goes to hell.
