we all know about the headcanon of phoenix eating almost anything he finds, but i raise to you this:

he's actually an extremely picky eater. he's very specific about what he will and will not eat (except during the 7yg i'd say because he couldn't exactly afford to be specific) and the necklace thing was mainly just an act of desperation.

but everyone makes fun of him about it anyways. the members of the wright anything agency (and edgeworth) could be helping maya buy some jewelry or something and she finds this really nice necklace only for edgeworth to say some shit like "i don't belive it's the best idea to have a necklace around wright. he might eat it again" and phoenix stares him down while everyone else laughs at him.

idk the idea of phoenix being a picky eater is just funny to me

some apollo justice spoilers so be warned

apollo is kinda scary when you think about it (or it's just me being me)

he has a bracelet that activates when someone lies, he has hypersensitive observation abilities and can spot even the smallest twitch, he's from an (adoptive but it still counts) family of fighters/protectors that most DEFINITELY taught him how to fight (i mean he punched phoenix pretty hard, i'd assume he knows at least the basics), and he survived all the shit that happened in dual destinies (and he lived through kristoph's bullshit so you gotta give him some praise there)

basically he's phoenix but worse and i'd be lying if i said i wasn't at least a small bit scared of this lawyer

is he pretty kind? yeah, he is! but you have to admit, the whole 'perceive' thing is a bit scary when you think about it
