I got some possible Cody lore hear me out guys

So I don't remember who came up with the possibility of Cody's appearance changing based on who he spends time around (I think it was the same person who came up with the name Ben? Not sure, I'll link when I can find or recall the post). But if that's true, he doesn't look much like Kyle, past the hair sweep. But you know who he does look kind of like?

But they do have the same noses and general face layout, and are both among the few characters who have eyebrows that match their hair, rather than being black bricks.

I mean, look. Drawing just the face, it really could be either one of them.

So what am I getting at? What if Cody was an intern who was shadowing Walter? Wasn't he a real estate agent or something? Cody could be spending his time outside of school assisting or observing him to learn the trade. It could also be how Cody got to talking to Kyle and the other Westons. He knows their dad from work.

He doesn't like clingy jeans or open shoes very much. Also short socks. Hats are a fluid preference but overall he doesn't enjoy wearing them.

20. What’s a superpower or magical ability that this oc would hate having?

I gotta say, there isn't many. Though he himself wouldn't realize this until he had these powers, he would not enjoy being able to detect lies, or read minds. On paper it looks great; for one who strives to learn and expose the truth, such powers would make the job way easier. In practice, he's surrounded by peers that, while kind, would not make great company if he knew some of their thoughts and beliefs. Knowing such things could take a pretty massive toll on his mental health if he didn't manage to surround himself with the right people.

He's actually pretty good at special effects editing. It's kind of contrary to his main motivation, but hey. If he's gonna do something involving photography or video editing, then hey, may as well learn as many digital media tricks as possible.

I vote that we name him Cody. Cody Collins. He looks like a Cody.

I don't have a super detailed backstory set in stone, but he was an American soldier, the kind who wanted to actually make a difference rather than doing it for respect or glory (he may have been a bit optimistic about the goals of the American military, but his heart was in the right place). He died in the line of duty, while protecting civilians from the opposing side who had nothing to do with the war. As such, his desire to protect in life became his obsession in death. His actual success varies.
