I could say the same about proshippers, I only had one civil conversation with a proshipper, just for them to bash me on their blog.

I understand why antis might block all proshippers because they don't want to risk having people threaten to rape them for saying that maybe drawing explicit content about children with their parents is not okay.

Antishippers, I’m a loss right now. How can I involve you guys in this conversation, where you can give your opinions, thoughts, evidence and experiences? When I try to pull you into the conversation, I’m met with silence and probably even ending up on several blocklists. I WANT you to share these things with me. I WANT you to be able to share your thoughts. I will ask questions, sometimes ones you don’t like, because that is how one can learn. I want you in the discussion, yet you guys act worse than adults in politics. At least the adults take the time to insult me more for asking them questions. I know they at least saw what I said. I’m trying to have you involved. If you want to change minds, leaving me with only the proshippers as those willing to talk is actually the worst way to do so. I can give a few DOZEN empirical journals about how this behavior actually makes things worse. Anyway, if you’re an antishipper please take this poll and share it. I’m proship heavy on it right now and I WANT your opinion on the topic.

Becuse when a human kills a human, it is deeply personal. there is a reason behind every murder. Bear would'nt kill me because of religion. bear wouldn't kill me because i was born a woman and said no. a bear wouldn't kill me because i'm queer. bear wouldn't rape so many girls at my high school and still walk the graduation stage. Bear wouldn't be protected because of its "potential" or "future." a bear doesn't torture. A bear doesn't kill thousands for strips of land or money. A bear doesn't see gender.

I would much rather be hunted by a bear because at least the bear is killing me for food or to protect their cubs. The circle of life! we all learned about it in the lion king! At least the bear doesn't revel in seeing me beg for my life. At least the bear doesn't get joy out of seeing me dead. At least the bear doesn't collect trinkets of its killings to look at whenever it feels sad. The bear is just a bear. a non-thinking, non-human entity that doesn't kill because of bias.

My honest reaction everytime I criticize the pedophilia (or however they want to call it) in the proship community and I get called a radfem purist homophobic/transphobic who hates sillines and happiness

I don't give a fuck what you ship, but pedophilia is just something that I will never be okay with. I don't care if it's "just fiction."

Fantisizing about children in sexual scenarios with adults is some weird shit. I will block anyone I run across who ships adults with kids and sexulizes children.

 You can call me an anti or a puritan all you want to but I don't care those aren't insults to me. Also even though I hate people who ship/adult minor I just block and report I never interact or "harass" disgusting people who are ok with pedophilia like some proshippers claim that "antis" like me do.

Also calling someone out for being disgusting and having problematic tendencies is not harassment for some reason proshipers believe that they should be above criticism and that no one should call them out for being disgusting if someone sees them posting horrific things publicly.

I never seek out nasty proship content but if I so happen to unfortunately see it I will say something it's called freedom of speech and you don't have to like it just block me and move on because I will do the same.

anyways, jokes aside: stalking is not romantic. why do our movies love to imply that stalking people is not only acceptable but romantic?? it's the fact that people are r*ped and assaulted and harassed by stalkers every day, but it's still romanticized. stalking victims are told they should 'give them a shot.' in movies, stalkers are made to be sympathetic so you don't linger on the fact that they are acting very creepily. stalking has serious effects on the victim. trauma and more. with this being so common in popular movies and TV shows and books is it any wonder both men and women have trouble understanding what a healthy dating relationship looks like? also, dark romance. a lot of dark romance books are just straight up glorified sexual assault. where he's stalking her and grabbing at her, but he's so hot about it so it's okay. where she's clearly scared of him or doesn't want to do anything with him but he just pushes and pushes. where she states her boundaries and or tells him what he's doing isn't okay, but then suddenly she's the bad one there because he got all sad. i hate that. don't write shit like that. you cant write 300 pages of repeated sexual assault and harrassment and not pause, just for once to think, "man.. maybe this is wrong". anyways, feel free to say what kind of books/movies/shows you've come across with this exact trope of glorified stalking/sa.
