Dancing in the living room of ramshackle dorm was not how Lilia expected to spend his evening.

He was ready to scare you at your doorway as you entered from a long day of classes. He ended up facing an almost cardiac event when you collapsed into him. He recollected himself, ready to tease you. But you stopped him.

"I need a recharge, Lilia. Got something for that?" His eyes softened, reaching a hand up to stroke your hair. A habit he inherited, from the realization that while the world was unkind, all he could do was protect his family and beloved.

Because of this way of living, he eased your head to his shoulder, guiding you inside. "It's an old trick I learned." With a low chuckle, he moved his hands to your shoulders. "Show me your dance moves, and we'll party your burdens away."

Seeing your less than amused expression, he giggled some more.

"Now, I'm only slightly tugging on your leg. We don't need to party." Which meant the dancing part still held true, unfortunately. You weren't in the mood to dance, you were in the mood to sleep. It was evident in the way your body swayed out of sync with his. "Come now, don't tell me you can't spare me your best attempt."

"I just want to rest with you," you mumbled as he lifted your arm to twirl himself. He paused. And you continued, "I'm sorry. I just really want to be held by you."

His parted lips pursed together in an uneasy expression. Not one of uncertainty towards you, more towards himself and his failure. He knew you were tired, but perhaps he hadn't expected him to be the object of comfort for you.

"Yes, of course." He pulled you close to him, in a more intimate embrace. More intimate than his teasing and typical hugs. "Let's get you to bed." Somehow, you managed to render him speechless and infatuated with your sleepy phrases.

It’s such a cheesy sight. Seeing her own brother develop a new fondness for someone new. A curious glint would make its way to his eyes at just the mention of your name. A soft smile would join this curious expression.

But this is before. Before he realizes how deeply rooted you are inside of him. And before he is made aware just how special this audience member and friend is.

Your name is different. Holding priority in his mind in contrast to others. Originality doesn’t matter to him though. Only the individual.

So perhaps it isn’t your name that sticks out. Just the fact that it’s you, out of anyone else.

As someone who tends to struggle with her self-esteem, I feel she could appreciate someone who can relate to her on some sort of level.

I feel she’d be very intrigued by your unique sense of style! It’s so peculiar to her, seeing ways of dressing that are unlike her home, but she enjoys it a lot. She’d even allow you to style a couple outfits for her, as long as she can have fun with yours as well.

I believe she’d enjoy a partner on the shorter side, someone who she can hold and struggle with on the vertical level. Although, getting high obejcts can be tricky for the two of you.

Being an introvert is no issue with her in the slightest, as long as you can communicate when something’s too much. She’s capable of speaking up for you, or toning things down if necessary.

She would ask you to teach her how to skateboard just so she can enjoy it with you (even if she freaks out a lot).

Despite her flaws or shortcomings, she can put in effort when needed, and is sure to devote her time and effort into ensuring your comfort!

“You don’t get it, do you?” He despised the dejected expression on your face. Still, he nodded with your blunt inquiry. “I’m not who I used to be, Riddle.”

He wanted to be understanding, and he was trying so hard to. It was taking everything in him not to push you away in angry confusion.

You were you.

Why were you saying that you were someone else, someone aside from who he grew up with? Was this some stupid prank Ace and Deuce put you up to? Why are you going against all it is he was raised to believe? Did you hate him?

“Why are you being delusional?” He slipped up in his thoughts.

“Huh?” He knows you’d heard that reaction from others within your classes, but not him. And even though he could see the pain in your eyes, he chose to continue.

“You’re selfisb, pulling the rug out from everyone just because you want to be different. I will not support your actions and behavior. And the only ones who will stand by your stupidity is those who see you’re a pitiful fool. Remember that.”

I do not believe Riddle would be discriminating against any minority after his overblot, however this is a short drabble containing my speculation for how it could be. Transphobia will not be tolerated.

As she’s under you, her heart races. One arm of yours rests next to her, holding you up on her bed. The other is used to cup her cheek.

She felt conflicted. Wanting to loudly exclaim her thoughts on this predicament, but she wasn’t even sure what her thoughts were.

“Ahem! Is this any way to treat your— uhm— the beauty before you? I was once the most beloved in all of Fontaine! The— the least you could do is show me a more dignified display.”

With a smile spreading across your lips, you leaned down and kissed her other cheek. The one your hand was not holding.

“You really are beautiful.” Pink blush bloomed brightly across her face. Obvious in comparison to her pale features typically. “But, you’re correct, I should get off.”

“Hey, wait!” A hand reached up to grab the sleeve of your shirt. “I didn’t say I didn’t like this, so stay…please,” her voice fell incredibly soft.

With her apparent desire to remain like this, perhaps you can indulge the ‘beauty before you.’

“I forget if I ever loved anyone else

When asked the question of if she’s loved another person like she’s loved you, her answer is immediate. Denying the existence of feelings for anyone else. “How could I love someone who isn’t you?”

You were her first relationship. The first and only one outside her family who has been able to succeed in making her feel comfortable. It was you, who made her feel ready to open her heart.

To you, she wasn’t like some robot, or object. She was your partner. You’d announce that to the world if you were able to. Because you’re proud of her. Proud of exactly who she is.

Offering to help her pick plants to add to her tea, or incorporate into her and Lyney’s magic performances. None of it was silly or unnecessary to you.

If she wanted or needed anything, you’d be there. You’ve never said those words aloud, but you didn’t have to. Because your actions spoke volumes your vocal cords could never achieve.

So, no. She’s never loved anyone the way she loves you. Because no one has loved her the way you do.
