“Back to School”

Winter break was over. Enid was sad. But happy to have warm winter clothes and not having to put up with her mother’s nagging. At some point she was going to have to tell her that she can wolf out. But she wanted to establish her relationship with Wednesday before doing so.

Enid: Too bad we can’t take Flower and Bianca with us.

Wednesday: Phineas will be sad if we take his sisters

Pugsley: don’t worry, Enid. I will take good care of them and send you lots of pics

Lurch had finished packing the car. Morticia and Gomez appeared

Morticia: is everyone ready? We are going to make a stop in Burlington to try that seafood place Xavier took you to, Wednesday. I hope you do not mind?

Gomez: I looked at their menu. It looks delicious

Wednesday: I do not mind. I think you will enjoy it, father.

Enid: please do not order escargot. I think I will lose my appetite seeing that.

Gomez: Don’t worry, Sunshine. Escargot is not one of my favorites

After the 6hour drive, the family was hungry. They quickly found the Seafood Shanty. The hostess sat them. When they were ready they ordered

Gomez: I shall have a one pound lobster. We shall have 6 bowls of the clam chowder. Steak frites for our butler. My dear will have the maple ginger salmon.

Pugsley: a cheese burger Medium

Morticia: two orders of fried clams. And a house salad

Enid: Cajun salmon sandwich and a house salad

Wednesday: Caesar salad with chicken and fish and chips.

Waitress: to drink?

Gomez: Red wine for my wife and I. Orange soda for my son. Sprite for my daughter. Iced tea for our butler. Enid?

Enid: Coke.

Morticia: and water for everyone

The waitress put in the order

Enid: this is really a nice place. I’m glad we can make a new memory here.

Lurch grumbled

Wednesday: Lurch says Thing is glad

Pugsley: Wednesday! Give me Xavier‘a phone! When our food comes I’ll take a pic so you can send it to him

Enid: -chuckling- Yes! Surely he will remember this place

Wednesday: -handing Xavier’s phone to her brother- make sure to include as much food in the photo as possible

Morticia: why must you torture that poor boy?

Wednesday: because he does not get the hint to stay away and leave me alone

Enid: Oh my god! He had to wear a shock collar because he kept coming to our balcony! Even that didn’t stop him!

The waitress returned with the drinks and water
