feeling your characters emotions
I think one of my greatest strengths as a writer is that I really feel my characters emotions. But what this means is that whenever a character is feeling really stressed or anxious (which happens a lot) I feel really stressed and anxious. So I’ve almost given myself anxiety attacks a couple times

Little me knew there were more genders.
A memory just came to me of myself as a young child (probably around 6-7), I didn’t know that I was gay or nonbinary or anything, I barely knew gay existed. I was just sitting around and thinking of gender, I thought of girl and boy but I was sure there was another one I was missing. I sat for so long trying to figure out the name for the one I was missing and I couldn’t figure it out. I know there are more than just those now and I can’t help but be proud of little me who was thinking about gender years before I’d figure it out.
