so, i was thinking about Juza, as you do aaaand---

I feel like juza might get intimidated by new things easily. I kinda referenced this in my post about script annotation (shameless self plug, i’m aware >:3), but i feel like this could extend to a lot of stuff. Omi has him helping in the kitchen? He is mega worried about messing up the food for everyone and he needs to be reassured that he is in-fact stirring the pot correctly. Muku lends him a copy of a manga he liked? It's sitting on Juza's desk for the first half of the week because he can't just open it?? That's muku’s book and he's worried he might rip a page or spill something on it?? And even if he gets it open, what if he doesn't understand it well enough to talk with muku about it afterwards? I feel like juza can definitely catch onto things once he’s shown the first few times, but starting things is just scary and nerve-racking for him. I think this might stem from how he was treated as a child and how everyone was scared of him and viewed him as a source of threatening, brute strength instead of juza hyodo, the kid in our history class. This could have lead to an automatic hesitance and extreme self-doubting when doing anything he doesn’t already understand, because the idea of breaking something or ruining something and, in turn, being feared and shunned was such a pervasive part of his childhood, it will definitely take a while for him to work through it.

and lemme just say waaaa juzaaa please know u are loveddd (and all you too!! i assure you all, you are stirring the pot correctly and i can’t wait to taste your soup!!)

Please imagine: omimi is making scones for everyone for the second time this week (bc mankai is full of a buncha ravenous teens) and juza is kinda just sitting quietly in the living room. Omi really wants to get Juza more comfortable near him and he is Highly Aware of Juza's sweet tooth, so he calls Juza over into the kitchen to see if he wants to help out at all. Juza is in there within a second bc he wants to help!! Also, omi’s scones!!

Omi finds it so endearing how eager Juza was to help, even though he’s hesitant to even pick up a spoon in fear of ruining the batter.

So! Omi decides to teach juza how to make a nice sweet lemon glaze for the scones while they’re in the oven!! (omi almost doubled over with laughter when he had juza taste the glaze and juza’s eyes just -d i a l a t e d- bc sugar!!!)

Everyone devours the scones while omi regales them with tales of how good juza was at helping make them and juza is mildly dying of embarrassment but,,..,it does feel nice….

(banri says that hes not gonna touch them bc “juza made them??” but ofc he sneaks a bunch when he realizes they taste sooo good, he’s almost mad at juza for how good the glaze came out??)

Oh dear, I just saw you are opened for requests and honestly, I would love if you could do, when you have time, a Tsuzuru x reader just general domestic fluff?💕 Tsuzuru wasn't exactly cooperative in the last event so my dose of him is low. -I think y’all would probably have a list of chores on a whiteboard somewhere and you can just add and erase as things get done. Since he probably had a chore allotment system with his brothers, he’ll find it easier to get things done if he has them all laid out like that

-Speaking of chores!! *cleaning wizard* He can probably cook lots of simple dishes easily bc he made them for his lil bros, so you guys make stuff like oyakodon together! Tsuzu also seems to be the type to fervently insist on cleaning as you cook, but its still fun!

-When writing he might read lines out loud to you asking if that ‘sounds like something a real person would say??’ bc when he gets into writing his rational brain is gone babeyy

-He is resident blanket thief!!! (leftover instincts from sharing a bed with his brothers)

I hc that whenever Yuki is super focused on designing or putting something together he makes a lil face. Like, he'd have a needle in one hand, fabric in the other, and just this tense little pout untill he finishes the length of that seam. Kazunari has probably noticed it but never mentioned it, but if TENMA ever sees it he's never gonna let it go lol, that's some eternal blackmail for him.

Ok, but imagine Juza, just standing in a doorway, blocking out almost all the light, shoulders almost touching the walls, looking down at everyone and mumbling:

"You want a scone?"

You know what I keep noticing? In quite a few of his backstage stories, Juza offers sweets to the director, entirely unprompted. In both instances I’ve read so far he acts like it’s a bribe to have izumi not tell the others about his sweet tooth, but we know that juza does trust the director, correct? In fact, I’d say that juza has trusted our dear director 100% as of the middle of autumn’s first chapter. Now then, why would he act like he needs to bribe izumi to not tell the others about his not so little sugar addiction? My theory is that, as much as juza adores his sweets, he loves sharing them with others too. Since it was such a secret part of him, finally feeling comfortable enough to share it with others is so liberating it's almost scary. To help simultaneously get closer to his friend+director and deal with that fear, he pretends acts hehe like he’s just doing it to bribe izumi or that he just happens to have an extra so it doesn’t feel like he’s outright just sharing snacks~
