Omg this reminds me of a few I did months ago when I just watched season 2 so that's all I was able to clearly think about before my chemistry exam... here are some smol and silly ones I made:

in the sea of monsters, annabeth might hug percy in circe's island after percy turns back into a human

percy could also totally turn the tables by hugging annabeth after she recovers from her concussion at polyphemus' island (imagine the parallels between the arch and this scene omg)

in the titan's curse percabeth could have their first and last hug of the season after percy rescues her from mount othrys- only to pull away immediately because they're awkward young teen best friends, who've started crushing on each other

"Never. I always I knew I'd get in a hug if you were going to die."

in the battle of the labyrinth, things can change up a little bit.

by little I mean percy thinking annabeth is coming in for a hug before what could be his death- but instead she kisses him.

after percy comes back to camp, (because he's delusional) he thinks annabeth is going to kiss him again in front of the whole camp, but gets a hug instead

"WHERE WERE YOU ALL THIS TIME SEAWEED BRAIN? WE THOUGHT WE LOST YOU FOR GOOD."

"*looking at the burial shroud* Yeah, I can see that."

in the last olympian, it's changed up, big time.

"So Wise Girl, a hug or a kiss this time? For good luck?"

"Come back alive Seaweed Brain, we'll decide that then."

and finally when they're dunked under the canoe lake, they share a kiss and hug in relief that they made it through.

This was my favourite movie as a kid and now seeing this post has changed my brain chemistry in some ways. How did I never correlate this?????
