Level 849
Description: Level 849 is a safe and stable level of the Backrooms that takes the form of a baseball field. The field is well-maintained, with a lush green outfield, a clean infield, and a freshly painted pitcher's mound and home plate. The stands are empty, but the air is filled with the crack of the bat and the roar of the crowd.
Entities: No entities have been reported on Level 849, but wanderers have reported hearing the sounds of a baseball game in the distance.
Entrances and Exits: Entrances to Level 849 can be found through noclipping through walls in any level of the Backrooms. Exits can be found by following the sound of the baseball game to the center of the field.
Tips for Survival: Level 849 is a relatively safe level, but there are a few things that wanderers should keep in mind:
Be careful not to fall off the pitcher's mound or home plate. The ground below is covered in a thick layer of fog, and it is unknown what lies beyond.
If you hear the sound of a baseball game, follow it to the center of the field. This will lead to an exit to another level of the Backrooms.
Do not attempt to play baseball on the field. The rules of baseball are different on Level 849, and those who break the rules are often punished severely.
Additional Notes: Level 849 was discovered by Wanderer Taterbot44 on 2023-11-10. Taterbot44 reports that he was exploring a random level of the Backrooms when he noclipped through a wall and found himself on the baseball field. Taterbot44 was able to exit the level by following the sound of the baseball game to the center of the field.
Level 849 is a popular destination for wanderers who are looking for a break from the more dangerous levels of the Backrooms. Wanderers can often be found on the field, relaxing and enjoying the game.
