Deciding that Lily EVANS is only worthy of talking about when she is married to/dating a man is actually MUCH more misogynistic than pairing James with whomever the fuck I feel like. I could pair James Potter with the giant fucking squid and it doesn't change the fact that Lily Evans should be worthy because she is her own beautiful, wonderful, flawed person, not because she is a wife or a mother.

And if someone tries to say something like "Jegulus shippers reduce Lily to an angry ex or a surrogate" I DARE you to read my two long fics that feature Lily and Jegulus.
