After my current fic, we have Granger’s Anatomy coming out, my hospital AU

Narcissus spends years having to listen to her son talking about the muggle born that is the brightest witch of their generation, has to hear her son berate and bully Hermione without being able to do anything about it.

She stops using the term mud blood but marries a man she hates because Hermione tells her that she has a son and Narcissa knows that he has to be the one she would marry because of her parents.

Her loveless marriage hurts more when knowing what real love feels like, but she goes through it because of how Hermione spoke of her son, and she comes to realize Hermione was right. She did love Draco more than life itself.

But the years of loneliness as he goes to Hogwarts burn. She watches the news faithfully and saves every article that references Hermione.

She can’t hide how she watches Hermione when the younger witch graduates, but knows with every passing day they grow closer to when she gets to be the cause of Hermione’s beautiful smile.

A hundred days have made me older
