LEE GON HAS DONE IT! HE’S JUST BESTED HIS OWN EPIC MATH LOVE CONFESSION! HE CALLS TAE EUL A FUCKING WARRIOR, FOR DRAMA GOD’S SAKE, HIS WARRIOR! He’s basically worshipping the altar of Tae Eul’s awesomeness and badassery!

He might have helped her in the end but only after she saved herself and did everything to get to him. He’s called her beautiful many times but him praising her for her skills and courage, something which comes within her, means so much to her. Her father and her colleagues take her strength and bravery for granted so she doesn’t hear praise from them, but to Lee Gon, she is like a miracle and he never ceases to be in awe of her.

Deep down, Tae Eul is actually insecure that Gon might mistake her doppelganger for her; however, he defeats all of them when he enumerates everything he knows about her because HE DOES KNOW HER, THE REAL HER, maybe even better than she knows herself. He knows the shape of her face to perfection, every hair on her forehead, each trembling smile,… (I think he’s been tactful here, omitting the tiny little detail how she likes to him.)

And then he gets the typical underwhelming reaction from Tae Eul. I love his resigned sigh and look of a man who’s been through this one too many times, yet he keeps soldiering on like a trooper.

Right now, someone’s going on a first date with the person they’re going to marry. Someone else is meeting the person who’s going to break up their relationship. Someone’s adopting the pet that will save her life and someone’s waiting on the results of a pregnancy test that will wreck hers. We all have moments that we might or might not realize are life changing and maybe today doesn’t seem like one for you, but you don’t know for sure that it won’t be. Because sometimes we don’t realize the importance of walking into a bar at a certain time on a certain day until it’s 3 years later and we’re walking down the aisle.

He just wants to be the bestest boyfriend. Look at the way his smile breaks out when he sees her. He’s been washing a whole bag of rice just for her. Swoon.

He’s so utterly proud and she’s like “oh jeez” and backs out in second hand embarrassment. 😂

Gon’s face is priceless and I literally lost it when he said he couldn’t feel his fingers 😂 but look at Tae Eul’s shy smile to the courtmaids.

And then she breaks into a big smile praising Gon as she walks back in. Awe these two. 😍

Breakdown of two scenes from the two previews for next week of TKEM. - Theory post

Taeul hugging Gon first where they first met

The preview of the rest of the show has been very stressful because the time travel aspect of things are haywire. But I wanted to suggest what happens in some of the scenes shown in the preview. My first theory is that Gon does not drop Taeuls ID card when he goes to save him self this time. This would make sense why he’s not remembering her when they first see each other in their first moment and he looks shocked and weirded out that she’s hugging me. Why does she remember then? I think Gon travels back in time to see Taeul before he saves himself, like he did in his glorious moment which still hasn’t happened. I can see him visiting her first before going back to saving his kid self and her keeping his face in her memory. Just like she affected him for 25 years with her ID card him showing up to her in a time important to her and helping her and she sees his face could make her run to him and hug him just like he did to her when they first met. This is just a theory I don’t know what he could do to her in the past that makes her search and wait for him everywhere.

Another theory to this is that Gon cancels himself out and stays stuck in the land of frozen time, so he doesn’t remember the memories of her because of doing that and this leads to him coming out with amnesia after Taeul calls him out and then she embraces him as current Taeul. Not really sure about this theory because I can’t understand why cancelling out himself would lead to memory loss but it parallels Goblin where Shin goes to the tundra and Eun tak forgets he exists and he is called out by her. Might be a consequence of closing the doors or destroying the flute.

Lim meeting Lim

So Luna has poisoned Gon and has stolen his whip I’m sure she gives it to Lim who then accesses time travel through it to go warn him self. This is like back to the future 2 where the villain goes back and tells him self a way to win but the protagonist find a way to go back and change that reality. Honestly Lim being able to warn him self has thrown me of the loop. But I’m guessing even if Gon doesnt have the flute he’ll have something else provided to him like his sword maybe to time travel. Or fate to help him. I’m intrigued to see how Lim uses this ability for him self. If it’s anything like back to the future 2 then it would be incredible scary and hard to defeat him. Also I won’t understand why he doesnt kill Gon as a child this time that was the mistake of the villain in back to the future he ended up adopting Marty as his son instead. I just won’t understand why Lim would do that.

Luna stabbing Taeul

Luna is the reason for why this whole story started she was the white rabbit that Gon chased to find the portal I always wondered why fate caused him to do so. It might be because she ends up following him back in time to save his little self? If there was a second shooter it would make sense that Luna who Gon thought he recognises was there too when he was a child helping his self. However because Luna stabs Taeul I wonder if she just basically causes the catalyst reaction for why the loop starts by being the reason Taeul dies? She started it and ended it as well because she is the catalyst to everything happening? I can’t understand why she won’t be a good character so I hope she doesn’t kill Taeul. And I’m not so sure about her supporting skills but I can see her being the second person who helps Gon save his self from Lim. If there is a second person at that scene with different shoes.

These are my theory braindumps so far this show is starting to confuse me with all the alternate realities and time travel theories and I was never good at understanding Back to the future either so it’s taking me time to analyse and come up with stuff.

The Cute Domestic Conversation That Needs to be Talked About More (3/3)

Before I start, there’s a lot going on in this world. Too much injustice. Too much wrongful blame. Too much cancel culture. I hope we choose the right issues to focus on amidst this chaos. It’s hard, but look to the positive side by continuously supporting the right campaigns. Hope everyone is staying safe. If anyone needs to talk, my DM’s are open.

So now getting to this, the last part of this series! I don’t mean at all to take away from the cause everyone is fighting for, but I just hope this puts a smile on someone’s face. Many people are going through a lot right now, no matter what the reason is, and my aim for still posting on here is to give some light through these small means for those that love TKEM :)

This whole interaction about Yeong...AMAZING. LOL LG really had the audacity to say sorry. Honestly I’m quite sure Lee Gon meant his “sorry.” Has he ever lied to JTE? Let’s be honest, I love JTE-LG, but Yeong has been with LG for longer. He pledged his loyalty and love to LG since he was a literal child, and that love between them is never leaving. Speaking of, I can’t wait to see the concerned love in Yeong’s eyes once he finds LG passed out and takes him to the hospital 🥺 Just a sucker for the hospital scenes.

Okay with the amount of flirty lines he says, it’s obvious he’s not even trying. He says the first thing that comes to his mind when he’s looking at JTE, and I love that. “I wanted to see your eyes again.” 🥺🥺 This idiot is so damn attentive to her 24/7, if you were JTE would you really not fall for him??
