Naruto remembers perfectly all the times you defended him.

He remembers that this has been happening since you were very young, in fact that's how the two of you met.

Some villagers were mistreating him and throwing things at him, he didn't know what else to do so he just crouched down with his hands on his head, when suddenly he hears that thin voice, but angry at the same time.

"Leave him in peace!" He remembers looking up and seeing a girl probably his age with a rock in her hand defensively in front of him.

"Get out of his way girl!" They yelled at her, but that didn't seem to intimidate her, in fact, it just made her angrier.

"Let's get out of here." She says taking his wrist and running away taking him with her

"I'm Y/n! She screams still running.

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki!" He screams running, but smiling now.

He laughs now remembering his courage, not just anyone would do it, in fact, no one did it for him, just you.

"Hey! Tired of ramen?" His voice snaps Naruto out of his thoughts, he looks at you and feels his heart race at the sight of your smile.

"God, she's so beautiful"

"I could never get enough ramen, I just got distracted by thinking." He says going back to eating, and hearing her low laugh.

"You can tell me now, or wait until I get back from the mission"

It's true, you had to go on a mission, now being a well-trained jonin, you were always going on important and dangerous missions, it made Naruto mad with worry, but at the same time, he was so proud of you.

"I was just remembering when we first met." He says seeing his smile widen.

"You mean when I saved your ass don't you?" She says and the two laugh.

"Actually you're always saving me." He says smiling affectionately at you remembering one of all the times you defended him.

He remembers that you two were at the gym and once again you defended him with such courage and determination.

"leave him in peace Ino, he's trying hard!" He remembers looking at you with such admiration, he remembers seeing your cute little face but so angry and determined to defend him.

And now here in front of him, eating ramen at the ichiraku like the two of you always do, he sees a strong, beautiful woman, a fabulous, talented jonin.

"Well, you keep saving me too." You say awkwardly

"It doesn't even compare to everything you've done and still do for me." He says leaning in and kissing her cheek.

"I guess we're each other's heroes then." You say smiling at him.

"Absolutely, and don't worry, I will always protect and take care of you." He says smiling brightly.

"I will also always protect and take care of you!

"Then promise me that you'll be careful on this mission, and that you'll come back all right." He says lifting his little finger towards her.

"I promise" You say intertwining your pinky finger with your finger, and he brings your hands closer to kiss, sealing your promise.

"We need to be alive and well so when this is all over we can get married, don't we?" Levi says, and you feel your heart race.

"Well the cadets have to be ok too to go to the wedding."

You laugh, and Levi watches your face carefully, he's really in love with every little thing about you.

"They love you, just admit you love them too." You say squeezing his hand tighter.

"I love you." Levi says making his eyes widen a little.

You get up from the chair, and go around the table sitting on Levi's lap, and hugging his neck.

"I love you too." You say and give him a long kiss on the cheek, making him close his eyes, and hug your waist.
