Yasu wasn't a stupid person, on the contrary: he was very intelligent and careful. However, he couldn't pick up on (Y/N)'s signals: the woman had been in love with him for a long time -everyone had noticed that- but he didn't realize it. Anyway, he also returned the feelings, but she didn't understand it either.

Yet, it was so clear to everyone…

(Y/N) was returning from university, tired and exhausted after a challenging exam session, but also happy, as she was pretty sure she had achieved a good result in her exam.

Just as she was about to turn the corner of the street, the woman ran into what she believed to be a wall due to its hardness, wall which caused her to fall, or at least she believed: that brick wall was Yasu, one of her friend, or rather her crush, who reached out and put his arm around her waist to keep her from hitting her head on the ground.

"Are you ok?" The man asked, dissolving the semi-embrace in which they were, and, at her nod, he softened his usually harsh expression and placed a hand on her head to gently stroke her hair.

However, his hand remained there for a few minutes -not that (Y/N) minded- and, instead of withdrawing, it moved down to her left cheek, caressing it delicately. It seemed the two were going to kiss -Yasu even leaned down slightly- but the man, as if having recovered from a trance, suddenly moved away from the woman, as if he had touched a boiling pot and burned himself, and, muttering an apology, he walked away, leaving her standing there staring into space and wondering if they would really have kissed if he hadn't walked away.

What (Y/N) couldn't see, however, was the blush on the man's cheeks.

Yasu was busy working at the law firm where he was interning.

Nevertheless, soon he received a phone call from Nana: (Y/N) was very sick. Without even letting his friend finish speaking, he closed the call and the computer, hastily put on his jacket and rushed towards the woman's house. In record time he reached her -he had almost risked being run over a couple of times- and immediately ran to her room, finding Nana and Nobu already there, very surprised to see Yasu so out of breath and not as calm as usual.

Ignoring the woman's angry scolding, he asked the man how (Y/N) was doing.

"Not well, unfortunately: she has a very high fever, didn't want to eat anything today and continues to have alternating hot and cold flashes. Finally, she's dozed off a bit now, but I think she'll wake up soon."

Taking matters into his own hands, Yasu sent Nobu to buy the medicine and asked Nana to stay with (Y/N), while he went to prepare something hot for her to eat, knowing his friend's culinary skills, certainly not suitable for a sick person.

"You really like it, don't you?" That comment made him petrify.

"W-what? How did you notice it?"

"Are you kidding me?! Everyone has noticed you two are being in love."

"I'm sure (Y/N) isn't in love with me."

"You're such an idiot."

"Huh?"

Nana had lost her patience: "I'm tired of talking to you, I'm leaving. Anyway, she's in good hands."

Yasu was stunned: it was possible (Y/N) too... He quickly dismissed those thoughts to focus on the patient.

"Ya…su…" Just as he was about to go and call Nobu to ask him where he was with the medicine -he had in fact been out for more than an hour-, (Y/N)'s voice stopped him. The man immediately ran to the woman's bedside.

"How are you?"

"Well… I think…" Noticing her hoarse voice, he gave her a glass of water he had previously placed on her bedside table.

"Shouldn't you be at work?"

"Don't worry, just think about getting well. -There was an almost awkward silence between the two for a few seconds- I'll go to see if Nobu comes with the medicine." Yasu started to leave, but he was stopped by a hand that weakly grabbed his wrist.

"Stay…" (Y/N) was looking at him pleadingly, and he was unable to resist her: he sat next to her and stroked her hair.

"Okay, I'm not leaving."

After a few minutes, the woman was already asleep and the man was looking at her tenderly. He was even tempted to kiss her -he had moved closer, and their lips were just a few centimeters apart-, but he stopped himself. If I kissed her without her consent, she would get angry, also because she doesn't love me, he thought. So, he simply shook her hand, which he had never left.

What the two didn't know, and above all didn't see, was a couple of friends lurking under the window of his house: Nobu and Nana were staring at them, and they both had the same thought: how can they not understand they love each other?

Yasu and (Y/N) were sitting together on the train that would take them to Tokyo: he wanted to follow his group, she wanted to follow him. He was working, she was texting Nana, letting her know they would be there soon.

At a certain point, a young woman passed by with the drinks trolley, which was very full, especially of various types of coffee: (Y/N) could see black coffee, macchiato coffee, coffee with milk...

"For the couple?" The two both blushed deeply and froze for a few seconds.

"Ehm…?" A nervous, female voice distracted them from looking at some apples. The little girl who had called them seemed to be no more than ten years old; she had long blonde hair tied in two braids and a white stuffed bunny in her hands, but her green eyes were full of tears.

Immediately the woman bent down to his height.

"What's going on, baby? Have you lost your parents?" The little girl nodded and began to cry; then (Y/N) pulled her into her arms, trying to console her and looking at the man, who had already understood the woman's silent request: let's help her.

After calming down the little girl -not without a few difficulties-, the three began walking towards a supermarket employee. While they were going to him, (Y/N) kept staring at the man, who was holding the hand of the little girl, Ai, who was between the two adults, pondering what he would be like as a dad and blushing, after realizing what she was thinking.

"Oh? What a cute little family?"

"Ah, what memories! I feel like I'm going back in time and seeing me, Keiji and Momoko!"

Two women in their seventies were talking about them!

How can I answer him? I certainly can't tell him I left everything to follow him! The woman mused like that, terrified and wide-eyed.

"I… -(Y/N) stopped for a few seconds, with her head down- I did it because I wanted to follow you."

Finally, she had decided to tell the truth: she had long been held back from confessing her feelings for fear of the man's rejection before, but at that moment she had decided to ignore it. So, gathering all her courage, (Y/N) confessed: "I did it because I love you, Yasu."

The woman immediately closed his eyes, not wanting to see the man's reaction. Yasu, meanwhile, was remembering all the moments spent with (Y/N), scolding himself for not having noticed her feelings, for being so blind to her, and even blushing for her confession.

Takumi doesn't have an easy character and, to be with someone like him, you've to have a very strong character to "counteract" his: for example, if he yells at you, you don't have to start crying, because he would get nervous if you did; otherwise, for him it's very important you don't interfere in his affairs, especially in those of his band, so you must also be quite discreet in talking to him about those

However, one of the aspects you most have to accept about Takumi is the women factor: I think he continues to be with other women; even if you're his real girlfriend and the only one he loves, be prepared for betrayals, because they're and will be a lot, but he only does (and will do) those when he's on tour and not also when he's with you (since you're enough for him if he's with you); nevertheless, if you act jealous about those, you two will probably fight violently, because he doesn't accept you making a fuss about those, since he always reiterates only with you there's feeling when he does it (the sexual act). The group passes the Torii (the portal of the Shinto Temple) bowing and then performs ablutions to purify themselves before the start of the ritual; it isn't uncommon for this small procession to be accompanied by traditional Gagaku Music.

After a dance by the Miko priestesses (the young women who work at the Shinto Temples), the ceremony ends with a toast for all participants.

Instead, regarding traditional clothes, the groom wears a Hakama (a kimono with a sort of trousers also used in kendou) and a very elegant Haori overcoat, both in dark colours; the bride wears a totally white formal dress called Shiromuku, and her hair is styled in the Bunkin Takashimada style, and on which two different types of white fabric headdresses can be found: the Tsunokakushi (the traditional Japanese headdress, consisting of a rectangular piece of white silk, which encircles the bride's head, traditionally worn to hide the horns of the bride's jealousy, as well as dampening her ego and selfishness, and which also symbolizes the bride's determination to become a sweet and obedient wife) or the Wataboushi (a sort of large and puffy hood, which covers the bride's head and hides the Tsunokakushi, usually made of white silk).
