yup. back again. so, because I'm fucking mentally ill, i'll be talking about the "they were best friends" ships from two of my favorite fandoms. C!QUACKCICLE y'all are gonna hate me for this, but C!Charlie and C!Quackity were kinda boyfriend coded. they had so much chemistry, and I feel like they had feelings for eachother. And then i go into the fandom thinking that everyone would think of them the same way i did, but...no? Most of the people i saw were saying that they were really good friends, and no? They weren't just friends(maybe not BOYFRIENDS but I believe that they at least had feelings for eachother), at least not to me? And I'm not saying that male relationships can't be close, look at C!Tommy & C!Tubbo. It's mostly whatever, I can always find TNTduo content(it's my guilty pleasure, and it might've worked if not for C!Wilbur being an egotistical asshole and C!Quackity being so closed off). But it gets me riled up from time to time. PATROCHILLES(I have less to say abt them) So, most people agree that they were in love with eachother. But, there are still some who say they were just good friends(history hates lovers, anyone) so, I'm giving y'all quotes. I'm not sure you know HOW Taylor's dominating the charts. I wouldn't give a shit if TTPD was THAT good, but she's released 37 different variants of that one album. THAT'S how she's staying on top, and mix that with Swifties, who eat that shit up? It's no wonder she's still dominating the charts.

i know a lot of people don’t like it when taylor fans say this but hating on taylor for dominating the charts is a sexist take. and i’ll tell you why. i’ve never heard anyone say that about any male artist or even the artists that came before her.

i guarantee that any other artist (dead or alive) would be doing the same thing. taylor knows her fans, she knows how to market her music. the music industry is a business and frankly, asking her to step down bc your fave isn’t getting enough attention is sexist.

it also shows that you want your fave to have low work ethic. like wouldn’t it be better for your fave to actually earn their spot instead of crying about how taylor is hogging the charts, when in reality more people just like taylor’s music.

c!Tubbo with hearing aids because yes - headcanons

Tubbo needed to get hearing aids after Techno blew him up, he hated it at first but when he found out he can just turn off someone while there speaking, he started to like it.

He used to sit alone in his office, hearing aids off, listening to nothing after he exiled Tommy.

Thinking about c!Tubbo working over at burger van, being so done with the customers so he just turns off his hearing aids.

Tubbo was trying to make one for Michael, when Ranboo found out he only hears on one ear. It sadly didn’t work but he still tries sometimes…

After Dream escaped from prison Tubbo broke his hearing aids, he didn’t want to hear the sirens from fear.

They could never make me hate C!Niki

one of my favorite parts of c!niki’s arc is manburg era because she was the person living in manburg who was most outwardly rebellious. she never stopped fighting - she made it clear that she hated the schlatt administration and everything they stood for, and so she fought back. she didn’t screw around with a “will-i-won’t-i” she just did. and i think people undersell that a lot, especially in favor of the pogtopian rebellion. but c!niki refuses to pay taxes, she sets fire to the manburg flag, she refuses to cater for schlatt and co. she doesn’t stop! when cschlatt exiles ctommy and cwilbur, she’s the one shouting about it. during the festival, she’s the one who shouts while ctubbo’s getting blown up and says from the beginning how much she hates the new country.

also the festival - if you watch the vod from your pov (which you totally should!!!!!) she just sits there and looks So Pissed Off the entire time. like she doesn’t hide how pissed of she is. she’s downright furious during that entire discussion!

and i think the most crucial part of all of this is what happens to her because of this. she is consistently belittled by c!schlatt - frequently in a “omg shut up”/“would somebody shut her up” in a way that feels like how somebody talks about a bug in the house. it’s misogynistic in many ways, i think - she’s consistently invalidated and overlooked, like her rebellion doesn’t even hold weight.

and then when she finally does more - i.e. the taxes - she’s literally hunted. and she runs, and calls c!wilbur, and she is terrified. and he says “can you just hold out a bit longer? pogtopia’s kinda full right now and we can’t take more people” and she’s like, actively unsafe in manburg and has nowhere to go and can’t go home. and she is told “just hold out a bit longer”

and then. the festival. again, she’s in the audience and watches tubbo get blown up and she’s shouting about it! like screaming at him! and finally c!schlatt is like “you’ve been a thorn in my side for too long” and he has ponk kill her! and she runs and he chases her and nobody follows to help, they just tell her to run. and she’s in the call w all of them and the conversation just moves on while she silently runs and silently gets killed. and that’s when she leaves for pogtopia.

anyways. point being: c!niki and overlooked rebellion.
